Bien pour les vacances
Bon hôtel, propreté dans la norme mais équipements un peu vieillot. Isolation phonique moyenne. Les services sont quasiment absents et le petit-déjeuner ne commence qu'à 8h30 (?!)... à éviter donc pour un séjour affaire. Pas d'autres restauration, quartier uniquement composés d'hôtels et de restaurant spécialisés (indiens, chinois et autres).

Clean and decor very stylish. Short walk to all the amenities .The only downside is the doors to the reception aren't open till check in at two so ater a long journey be prepared to find a toilet before hand if u arrive early. Would definitely stay again

Nice comfortable bed, lovely modern furnishings, walk to town centre if you want, quiet, lots of tea and coffee in room, nice shower room with nice smelling toiletries, big, light room. No complaints.

Lovely room and excellent service. Only issue that we had was that the cups in the bedroom had been cleaned with something that left a bleachy taste in them. But asked for them to be cleaned which was done straight away.

A clean and recently refurbished hotel in Bournemouth close to the centre (BIC). Picking hotels around here can be tricky as some are a little tired and shabby, but this one seems to have been polished up nicely, and recently too. The rooms are a smidge on the small side but I’ll take that for the price and knowing it’s all in good condition with helpful staff - will book again

People were friendly and kind. We received a free upgrade to a room with a beautiful view. :) Near the hotel, there are many charming local pubs, and its location is within walking distance from the sea. We also appreciated the fact that we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel after checking out.

Hotel convenient clean and spacious. Unfortunately radiators on bed room were not adequate enough and bedroom was cold also no heating in bathroom at all (radiator or towel rail) and was freezing. If staying more than 1 night would have complained

Lovely hotel. Excellent service.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Applewood. The lady on duty was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and the service was excellent. Our family room was very clean and nicely decorated. It was cosy but more than enough room for the 4 of us with everything we needed including the lovely toiletries. There were only a couple of things that would have made the stay absolutely perfect - There was no blind up at the bathroom window. It looks like it had previously been there as the track was there but there were no lats and the pillows were quite flat. That didn't take away from the lovely couple of days we had though, and if we are down in Bournemouth again, we would definitely book here again.

The staff was very responsive to send us late check-in info after auf train was delayed for several hours because of a storm so we could get into our room after the official end of check-in time. The room was cozy and the bunk bed nice for the kids - the towel warmer was a nice touch. The only issue was that the room was left unlocked after the cleaning people tidyed it - it does not feel good to return to an open door when all our stuff is in the room (and there is no safe). Otherwise great place with personal touches!

The room was large. It had space for a table and 2 chairs. The shower was excellent. There was a generous amount of tea, coffee and milk. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

Family Weekend Stay
The hotel suited us as we were using it to explore Bournemouth and then to travel from to visit Poole after we checked out. Very close to town centre and beach. So plenty of choice for food and can go to the beach to explorer. Bunk beds were great for the children, free Wi-Fi, bed was confortable and the shower was powerful.

What ever you do, do not stay in the single executive room. It was horrible. Lights not working, big bugs dropping from the light fixtures and a bathroom across the hallway with absolutely no ventilation whatsoever. That was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in honestly

Hi Priscilla, it’s unfortunate you didn’t enjoy your time in Bournemouth and your stay with us. We tried to make you feel welcome and even microwaved your left over MacDonalds for you in the morning at your request. Just to clarify, you booked the budget single room (not executive). There is nothing wrong with the lights. The external bathroom is 2m outside your room and has a window and an extractor fan. Sorry to say, your honestly is questionable.

First and foremost the staff are The most knowledgeable pleasant and helpful, it seemed nothing was too much, thank you. Hotel is well positioned for a short walk into town. However, given this it is prone to some noise from late night revellers walking past. Great parking thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Comfortable hotel with good free parking
Very friendly service, easy check in and ample parking. Huge bed, all very clean and comfortable. The only aspect I’d prefer is to have a full cooked breakfast option. There is a light breakfast option only. There are a few cafes only minutes walk so we did that, but it would have been nice to eat at the hotel, especially as it has a lovely restaurant area. But we’ll def stay again when visiting the BIC.

Location easy for town centre, beach and airport. Room was decent size for the family, bunk beds great for kids. Bathroom not massive but everything we needed and having bath was ideal for little ones Breakfast was more than sufficient and kids catered for with ease Staff were more than friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate The toys for the girls and garden was brilliant for them My only downside would be for the price of the room the condition was less than I expected (perhaps this is a difference in areas and what is normal price for the area) Frame of the bed was all scraped and looked very worn, around the door frame of the bathroom the same. For us, we’d paid a little extra expecting a really nice place and condition wise it just didn’t live up
