VRBO should not be offering this disgraceful place. The owner clearly does not care about guests — in fact, he couldn’t even be bothered to give us the basic information to get into the property. No phone number. No entry code. We arrived stranded and had to get a neighbour to track down the owner for an entry code. If that neighboor hadn’t been home, we would’ve been stuck.The so-called “entrance” is a joke — no real stairs, just a dangerous, slippery gravel slope leading to the door. It’s a hazard waiting for an accident. Inside, things went from bad to worse: furniture that looks like it came from a garbage dump, mattresses so thin they may as well be yoga mats, a kitchen missing half the basics you’d expect in any rental, a filthy oven, no hand soap in the bathroom, and bathroom rugs so filthy they could walk themselves to the laundry. The “game cupboard” has gaping holes where glass should be, and about 90% of the windows don’t even have coverings. So much for privacy.The outdoor amenities? A complete scam. The fire pit didn’t work. The hot tub — a major reason we booked — was “suddenly” broken, but of course we only learned that moments before we arrived. The TV setup is just as useless — no Netflix, no Prime, no YouTube, not even the most basic channels most people watch. On a 5-star scale, this dump deserves a zero. Stay away.
