« Fabulous stay at this gorgeous BnB with charming hosts. Loved the spacious ensuite room with soaking tub. Breakfast was perfect and the shared living space (with breathtaking Brecon Beacon views) was so comfortable that H enjoyed posting up there for work. Would love to return for a longer (than 2 night) visit and check out more of the hundreds of nearby hikes. »

« We had a lovely weekend away at this Inn. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. Nice thick curtains that kept out most of the light. Powerful shower. We had a couple of meals and the food was excellent. Breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our car and they let us stay longer in the room whilst we waited for the RAC. Would stay there again if I was in the area. »

« Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. »

« I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. The lady who waited on us was very friendly and, at our request, talked about the region and how to get to our next destination. I'd like to thank her for all her kindness. I was a little sad to hear the owner, I presume, telling her off for spending so much time talking. We really think this personal touch by staff is what distinguishes a good guest house like 'Llwyn Onn' from bland uninteresting hotels. Please don t discourage your staff from being so welcoming."
