„Stayed over at this property for a ladies retreat. It was a spacious place as described but unfortunately meant that it took forever to heat up and some rooms never got warm. Would avoid in the winter months unless you have a portable heater. The owner did bring us wood for the fire place so used that - very pretty and warm. The place could’ve been better cleaned in our opinion as there was clear evidence of prior occupants (empty alcohol bottles in drawers etc). I think this place would be ...

„Accommodations were very basic. No essentials were provided, soap, shampoo, paper towels, tissues, salt, and pepper. It would be a big plus too have a couple more hooks and shelves in the bathroom to be able to place things. Another chair in the main living area would be helpful. Plan to bring everything with you. The gardens were beautiful and very relaxing. Overall worked for us.“

We worried that our small dog could get through onto the lane and some wirefence material along the bottom 2 feet of the gate would have made us less worried. „Für englische Verhältnisse war die Unterkunft nicht schlecht. Innen war alles relativ neu, aber für 4 Personen ist die Einrichtung nicht gut durchdacht. Es gibt keinen Esstisch, nur eine Bar mit Barhockern. Ein Pooltisch mit Platte könnte auch als Tisch genutzt werden, aber dran sitzen geht eigentlich gar nicht. Die Sofas im Wohnbereich sind etwas für Zwerge, aber zum chillen und liegen nicht geeignet. Im Obergeschoss gibt es ein großes und kleineres Schlafzimmer mit jeweils 2 Betten. Für 4 ...

„We are in our early 60’s and stayed for 4 nights at the end of May 2024. Great central location, out of the door and into the massive park, brilliant for dogs. This is a very old building, quaint inside, nicely updated to fit in well with the property’s age. Bedroom is big and comfy, loved the green leather seat looking out of the window. The bath / shower are a bit of an adventure, looks great but we could not live with it if we were living there all the time. Word of warning, 100% not suitable ...
