Beautiful house and views!

We loved the house - was just like the pictures. The outside was perfect for the kids to run and play. Location was great for the Virginia Creeper!

Everything was perfect!

We had a great time at the house, everything was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone, the beds were comfortable and the property itself is beautiful. It was also very conveniently located to the Creeper Trail, where we visited all weekend. I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful house and location

This was our second stay at the farmhouse. We love the location. Abington is a nice little city. The farmhouse is just 20 minutes from Damascus and the part of the VA Creeper Trail that we like best. The host, Bob is fantastic.

Such a Special Place

My group of friends from college try to get together annually (for over 20 years), and this place was a perfect spot for our reunion. Clean, great kitchen, spacious, comfortable beds, beautiful surroundings. Loved sitting out on the front porch. Saw a black bear, a doe with her new fawn, and a white skunk. Hope to return & highly recommend.

Sweet little farmhouse

We really enjoyed our stay here at the farmhouse. It was in the country and so peaceful. The house was built about 100 years ago and it has the quaint appeal of a farmhouse. However, the inside has been updated and has all the amenities you desire in a vacation home. The beds were very comfortable. We had two teenage boys who enjoyed playing basketball. And we made smores over the outside fire pit. Overall, a great and relaxing stay!

Beautiful property!

Perfect farmhouse with a wonderful front porch for taking in the views! Immaculate when we arrived. Great beds and everything that we needed for a girls weekend. Definitely will be returning on our next trip to Abingdon.

Girls Weekend

5 of us stayed for the weekend to ride the Virginia Creeper Trail. We had the best time! The house is so comfortable, clean and accommodating. We were so relaxed we stayed up the first night until 2 am catching up on children, grandchildren, husbands etc. The owners communication was great and the property was exactly as described. We have all said we will be back!

Beautiful countryside home inside and outside!

My 3 sisters and I are from PA and SC, so the location was perfect for us for a getaway week. Although close to town and great dining, we spent most of our time enjoying the most spectacular views from the spacious front porch. This property is second to none! 5 star

This house far exceeded our expectations! The house was beautiful, the views amazing, and the location was perfect. We are suckers for a charming old farm house, and this one made me want to come home and redecorate!

Beautiful Farm House

We stayed here for the weekend so we could ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail and explore the area. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this rental house for your stay. It so beautiful, clean and charming. The owners were responsive and were easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

Time away from it all

We happened about this house when looking for places to stay near the Virginia Creeper trail. It really fit the bill as we wanted a place in the country with a lot of space and mountain views. The house was very comfortable and easily accommodated our family of six. Our favorite place in the house was the wide porch and we ate a number of meals on it. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend staying at this house!

From beginning to end, we had the BEST TIME! Bob was so responsive and helpful. The house was bigger and more beautiful than the pictures--a total dream! We explored the channels and the Creeper trail in the snow, and it was nothing short of magical. We can't wait to be back in the spring. Thank you, Bob! :)

Perfect stay!

The house is impeccable and the owners were gracious and helpful! Every detail was perfect - soft beds, towels, and all the kitchen necessities you could need. We started the trip off by receiving a text with all the important information about our stay, only to arrive with a fresh loaf of bread on the counter! Excellent service and we adored the house! We will definitely be back!

Farmhouse Heaven close to everything yet very private

We fell in love with this beautiful house. When we walked in the door we immediately noticed fresh baked bread and cookies waiting for us in the kitchen. What a nice touch. We used the delicious bread to make French toast the next day. We will he talking about how delicious that was for years to come. The home is absolutely beautiful. An older home that has been updated to keep the charm of an old farmhouse with all the modern conveniences. The view is stunning from the porch. Rolling pastures around. Close to Abingdon and Damascus yet you feel out in the country. We will definitely book here again.
