Our family stayed at this beautiful cabin tucked away in broken bows beautiful trees for my sonâs high school graduation/18th birthday! He picked this cabin out himself and he couldnât have done a better job! The staff was amazing and made sure that our stay was very comfortable. We will definitely be back.
We had a great week! The property is beautiful. There were a few small issues but communication with the owner was very good! We would definitely stay there again!
Very restful week! We loved the upper deck and the hanging egg chairs! Lovely view! Watched deer feeding just below one evening. Loved the pool table and shuffle board! Great for everyone to have their own space, but also lots of common space to hang out together as well. Kitchen well stocked and plenty of room to navigate while preparing meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms all very spacious and very nice. Property manager very responsive to any questions! Also, highly recommend Gratefull Head Pizza and Riverman Trail Rides!
Everything was clean when we arrived. It was a little further apart from the other cabins in the area giving us plenty of privacy. Everyone in our group had a great time and there are plenty of game options to stay entertained.
Beautiful quiet and remote cabin with stunning views. Property manager was extremely accommodative and helpful. They were very responsive to minor issues including dead bugs upon arrival, and minor maintenance issues (porch lights, pool cues need attention, etc..). Otherwise was a fabulous house. Couldn't ask for better sunrises. We would return to this property.
So as a University of Texas fan, it was a challenge going to stay in OK. Especially during that horrible SEC championship game but I am so glad we did. The location was impeccable, the home was inviting and comfortable. It had the right amount of comfort to feel you could rest and play. We absolutely go again and recommend to many.
Disappointed with the cleanliness. Dead ladybugs all over inside. Several live yellow jackets. One stung one of the two year olds. Dirt on floors showed on socks and bare feet. Balled up hair and other dirt found around bath tub. Nice home with good features, but a lot of money spent and expected better.
We took our family to a first time weekend get away to the Broken Bow area. Everything at the house was 5 star, and the communication was great. Our family hated to leave. Well done!
The house was beautiful and so was the property. We enjoyed our stay for two nights. We used the fire pit, the shuffle board, pool table and video game but not the hot tub. Some of the instructions were not consistent from the emails so we didn't add shock to the hot tub. The instructions on the container said to add some after use and the emails said a scoop every day. There was no scoop. We couldn't turn off the living room fan and the host did answer my query but said the remote was on the back wall but there was nothing on the back wall. There was a remote by the front door but it only lit green when we pushed the buttons and didn't change the fan. Something came on after midnight the second night inside the house near the hot tub (or it was the hot tub) and vibrated the floor in the bedroom for about 3 hours and kept me awake. My husband was able to ignore it. One email said to put the dirty towels in the washer on light but the last instructions said to leave them in the area of the washer, so we put them in the washer and didn't start it. We had one car have difficulty getting our of the driveway up the steep hill but we swept the gravel off the textured concrete for the other two and they exited ok. If we went back we would probably park off the road. The teapot didn't work for us. We could have used more dishcloths, there was only one. I was really pleased that the pines in the area were healthy and beautifulThanks for a lovely family reunion location.
Wonderful rental. Big plus is that the three master bedrooms are basically the same so multiple couples can stay here and no one gets a bad room. Great amenities, beautiful views, rent this place.
First -- the views are absolutely incredible. Way beyond expectation. Second -- the interior was wonderful. Kitchen was well appointed and everything worked perfectly. Comfy beds and everyone slept well. Third -- the back deck is THE place to be here. One of the very best views in the area and the deck truly was extended living space in every sense of the word. This company was super easy to work with and it was so fun to see our well traveled adult children all jaw drop when they went through this cabin. So very worth the money!
We have been vacationing in the Hochatown area 1-2 times a year for 13 years and this was easily in the top 3 cabins we have staying in. The area, the views, and the hosts were perfection. It was one of the few times that we were all content to just hang at cabin and relax. Almost impossible not to have a great time.
Overall Iâm very happy with the stay. Itâs a great location. The only minor issue was that there was a some litter left behind by the previous occupants that didnât get picked up.
The property was clean and looked just like the pictures. We had a few questions and was able to contact the property manager easily and she answered any questions that we had. Everything was as described and my family really enjoyed the stay.
The driveway was REALLY steep, be aware.
All in all, we really enjoyed and would definitely stay again!
The cabin was beautiful and clean. Check in was easy. Everything was absolutely wonderful. Everything we needed was in the kitchen there was even firewood and a s'mores kit. Coffee and creamer was provided which was a huge Plus. Laundry detergent dishwasher detergent trash bags etc all there.very well done. The only problem we had was the driveway, which we did read about in other reviews. To say that it is steep is an understatement. One of our vehicles was even an off-road Jeep and it had a hard time getting back up the driveway. The other vehicles were a Volkswagen and a van, which neither attempted to drive down the steep driveway and parked on the street. It was a little more difficult bringing our things in from the street having to walk down this deep drive but we made it happen.
