Perfect little getaway

We had a great time in Hochatown and this cabin was perfect for our family. Everything we needed was there and we liked that we were close enough to town but still a bit secluded. Thank you for a great place to stay, we will be back.

Family getaway

This is our 6th time to brokenbow, this time we brought our son and parents. We were celebrating our 29th anniversary, sons 28th birthday, and my moms 76th birthday. Enjoywd and had a blast. Saw a ton of deer rhis time.

Great Cabin

We came for a girls weekend! The cabin was perfect! It’s in a great location! Cabin was very clean. The beds were comfortable! It was a great layout. We will definitely be returning.

Lives up to its name !

The house was beautiful and secluded. Very welcoming and comfortable . Beautifully decorated and many special touches. Hot tub on the back porch along with a gas fireplace and tv. We didnt use these things but it was nice they were there. The reality matched the description perfectly.

Beautiful!!

Beautiful cabin! We did have one issue that took most of our trip to resolve (outdoor fireplace was not working). Otherwise the cabin was very nice. Very comfortable beds in all the rooms! Lots of outdoor deck space, horse shoe pit, fire pit, hot tub on deck. Very nice.

Great cabin! Perfect location

The cabin is gorgeous and was a great choice for our group! As some other reviews mention, the spiral stairs are difficult for adults but our teenagers didn’t have any issues. A small issue we had with 1 tv was fixed almost immediately so they were very responsive. The only thing that was a slight inconvenience was there are no toiletries provided and the amount of paper towels, trash bags, and other cleaning products were not enough to last through our stay. We did have a large group and did a lot of cooking, so if you plan to do the same you might want to bring a few extra supplies. Great property and a great family weekend!

Perfect getaway!

The Dream House is lovely. Kids enjoyed all of the amenities- the arcade games and Xbox, the hot tub, roasting s’mores by the fire. It’s located near many restaurants and stores. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. We really loved the porch, and even saw a deer! Highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin! We have stayed at several and this one is probably my favorite. The back patio is cool and so comfortable. All beds were comfortable and spacious. Very clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for hosting us.

Great but issues

The cabin was really nice. The stairs up to the second floor are way too narrow. Men with large feet have issues. The tv above the fireplace is too high, makes it uncomfortable to sit and watch. The major issues we had was there is NOT an Ice maker, we had no propane, the dryer was broken, cornhole bags were torn, hot tub doesn’t get very hot and the wood was so wet we couldn’t use the fire pit. Cleaning crew needs to learn how to clean stainless steel. Amenities should be checked better or more often. The road getting to the cabin is aweful, but I know that isn’t the owners fault. Overall we had a good time and the cabin is beautiful.

Awesome Vacation

The dream house was a true dream. Absolutely loved this house. Enjoyed the fireplace nightly. The fireplace was awesome while I drank my morning coffee. The kids loved all the games. The creek out back was the high light for us all. Kept the boys busy for hours. The kitchen had everything you need to make your meals. And plenty of room for eating together. The hot tub TV was the highlight for the guys. Watching TV, drinking beer and watching the games. Highly recommend this cabin.

Great place to stay.

We enjoyed the home and location so much. Cabin had everything we needed. Only downside was the spiral stairs. I’m not opposed to spiral stairs but these were super small and steep. If they were wider and sturdier then we’d stay again for sure. If we only have a need for two bedrooms we’d stay again. I wouldn’t if we needdd the third bed. Too hard to get up and down.

Great place. Nice and clean property.

Perfect cabin in the woods. Very comfortable beds and furnishings. The only downside was the noise from the main road. Upside was the ice cream and restaurants in walking distance.

Beautiful home ruined by cigarette smoke smell

First, I will say that the home is beautiful. The bedrooms are spacious, the decor is comfortable. The outdoor space is great. Our kids loved playing in the creek and making smores by the fire. They also loved the upstair area and the arcade machine. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in until we left, there was a cigarette smoke smell. When we reached out to the manager, they assured us no one had smoked in the home, but it was hard to imagine the smell could be that strong if smoking had only happened outside. The smell was in everything. The bedding, the curtains, etc. It was so bad that even after doing a load of wash at the cabin and coming home with clean clothes, everything still wreaked of smoke and had to be rewashed. There was a dirty ashtray on the patio, which didn't help our opinion of the condition of the home. The managers did leave a can of Lysol on the front porch. Some of our guests have health issues and we have small children, so spraying chemicals throughout to mask the smell was not an option for us. Also, there were clumps of previous guest's hair in the shower and the bathmats did not appear to have been washed. Lastly, while they had most of the basics, guests will need to bring any and all toiletries. No little shampoos to get you through your trip. The things that give a vacation rental it's charm were lacking. So to wrap this up, the house is lovely and has almost everything you need, but definitely needs to be better maintained if they want to have good reviews.

Summer getaway

Just got back from a stay at the Dream House. This was our first trip to Hochatown, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. After setting foot in the cabin, I hardly wanted to leave! The whole vibe was extremely relaxing, from the sun-dappled living room, the comfortable bedrooms, the amazing shower in the master bath, to the hot tub on the back porch and the fire pit. We brought a lot of supplies we did not even have to use, since the cabin was so well stocked. Especially after the year we’ve had, it was nice to just go someplace where we were able to relax completely. The cabin was only a short distance away from him many of the activities available in Hochatown, but as I stated earlier, I hated to leave! My one complaint is that the road leading up to the cabin is a little rocky, but they actually came and put down some gravel while we were there, so the drive was much more pleasant for the second half of our trip. My favorite part of every evening was watching TV from the hot tub! The WiFi was not 100% and would go in and out occasionally - not nearly often enough to be a hindrance and was a timely reminder that we were there to slow down anyway. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to plan our next trip back!

Great rainy weekend

My family and I have never been to Broken Bow area before. So we wanted a place not too far from Houston. It was a 6 hour drive and it was well worth it. The cabin was beautiful and even though it rained for all 3 days we were there. We had a very nice time. The home and property is gorgeous. very relaxing.
