Great family get away!

Our family had a fantastic time! The home had everything we needed and was in a great location to be able to get in the water and paddle around.

88 degrees at 1am

Our first night the ac stopped cooling and was heating instead. The heat rose to 88 degrees at 1am when we finally just turned it off. Had to sleep with the back door and windows open to cool the place and was up til 4am. Our second night the neighbors were having a party on their outdoor patio til 1am then I finally asked if they could keep it down cause this part of the river is listed as quiet for families.

Lake house weekend

Enjoyed our stay. Great location near all the places we visited. Beautiful and clean home with a wonderful view of the lake channel. Only issue was the water, the sink and shower had very low pressure. Home needs a water softener to keep the calcium buildup from clogging the fixtures

Lake House

This home was incredible and we really enjoyed being right on the river! The scenery was great and the wrap around back decks were very spacious and perfect for lots of seating. Only suggestion I would make is having a little better kitchen cook wear/ appliances. Everything was extremely worn and the coffee maker, microwave and toaster we outdated or not working properly. I would definitely recommend this home to any small family’s or groups!

New year’s Eve getaway

Our family had a wonderful time at this lovely lake house. The weather was great so we were able to enjoy the pedal boat, double kayak, single kayak, and stand up paddle board right off the backyard! The keypad on the garage was tricky to get open, which is where all the water equipment, ping pong table, and corn hole was stored. But we were able to get in contact with the local host who gave us the code and the trick. Even after that though we had trouble nearly every time we opened it. We also noticed several other lake houses around us had fire pits, which would have been nice to roast marshmallows on NYE. Just a small suggestion to improve the property. Other activities we did: hike Inks Lake state park and toured the Longhorn Valley Cavern. Overall we had a fantastic vacation. Thank you for a relaxing, fun-filled time!

Clean, Comfortable, Great Water Gear

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the convenience by the water. The property was clean and comfortable and it was AWESOME have access to fishing poles, kayaks, and paddleboards. This part was the best! We had no idea how well equipped it would be for kids/babies with baby gates, games, and high chairs and will keep this in mind in the future. Check in and out was easy. The only minor complaint is the bed in the master bedroom was small especially given the size of the room. It felt like a full size bed as opposed to queen/king and my husband is 6'4'' so it wasn't as comfortable as hoped. But overall positive experience and will save it as a future local getaway option.

Relaxing getaway

Great property and loved having all of the toys to play with! We canoed, paddle boated, and fished off the bank. Such a great place to chill and the property management was amazing! We will be back!

Stunning

I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Very smooth process start to finish, very impressed. The house is perfect. Spacious and open. It has literally EVERYTHING you need. They have left items that people have left behind and it’s perfect when you need a spare bandaid or sunscreen. I even borrowed sandals. All the comforts of home. The water activities (kayak etc) are icing on the cake. Seriously loved this place, will be coming back. We came in for a wedding that took place right across the river. We even visited family that was staying across the river by peddle boat! Price was comparable to that venue, but you get so much more for your money at this house. Loved it. (My son, Finley, also loved all the personal touches…)

Short drive from the city and oh so relaxing!

We came from San Antonio and did not bring a boat but the boat ramp was super close. We really enjoyed our stay. The water was so close and nice and warm. The house has relaxing views of the water. It's stocked with towels, a keurig and left over items that renters have left behind which was so helpful, because I forgot the salt! I would definitely recommend this place. It could only be better if there was a grill and another side table in the master bedroom.

Great home on the Chanel

This home was great! It was the perfect place for myself, daughter and her husband and 2 kids. Ages 9&11. There were lots of toys (kayaks, sup, and a pedal boat as well as 3 fishing poles ) The interior looks like it was recently redone and was very cute and stylish. The location was absolutely perfect for kids that had not used these types of water vessels very often. It is a calm Chanel off the river near Inks lake. The fishing was good.(caught several sun fish blue hill and catfish too. About 10 over the weekend). The kids also caught and released small turtles by hand for fun). The only thing I would suggest is for the owners to leave a bbq grill there. We knew ahead of time because I called and asked, so we brought our own, but it would have been so much more simple to have one there. Otherwise it wad the perfect location , easy for all and no hassle getting in or leaving. Thank you so much for allowing us to use this vacation home.

Great river house!

Great location! Visited Colorado bend state park and longhorn cavern. We had two adults and three kids and the house was perfect! Comfortable beds, nice living space, and outdoor area for kids to play! The only suggestions we have were to add a TV to the bunk room and another side table in the master bedroom. Overall, great property! We will be back!

Socially distanced get-a-way enjoying aquatic sports activities and night sky

Rural weekend get-a-way within an hour's drive of Austin and Enchanted Rock. Creekside property provides easy access to river and the pedal boat, kayaks, paddleboards, and fishing rods enhanced our visit. The whole family (ages 5-87) enjoyed our time there. The expansive porch was great for morning coffee, an afternoon nap in a lounge chair, or viewing the night sky.

Perfect

We have never stayed in this area before, needed somewhere close to Inks Lake where additional family was staying. This home exceeded all expectations. Location was much better than we originally thought and the home provided everything needed to keep us and 3 kids busy. We will be back.

Lake Paradise

Absolutely loved our stay! From backyard fishing to kayaking to morning coffee on the enormous patio. Had everything we needed. Spent several days at Inks Lake too. Will definitely be back.!
