Booked the property, paid our stay, and received confirmation and check-in instructions the night before. When we responded to the owner about meeting them the next day they informed us there was a mistake with the booking and it was no longer available. This was less than 24 hours before our arrival on Thanksgiving weekend! They said they hoped that wasn't a big deal and they would see about getting our money back. We tried to contact the owner several times about our refund with no answer. We had to contact VRBO ourselves to put in a claim. Lucky, they were very helpful and process the claim for us within a week. We never did see the place, so we cannot comment on that, but were very upset with the owner and how they handled this booking.
