« I did not stay at this property as I was unable to gain access and the exterior was like entering the set of a Halloween movie. I am requesting a full refund. It was no where near as it was presented. Total misrepresentation and I have pictures. I did not stay and paid another 300 elsewhere Had guests from Canada and was totally embarrassed that they would think I would ask them to stay in such a disgusting place. « The view is beautiful and perfect way to start the day. The road isn’t paved so just be advised. I grew up in this area so I was prepared, but at night it is definitely dark and steep. The house was cozy and comfortable. This is our second stay and would for sure stay again, the front porch is massive and perfect for large groups and families. Thank you for great communication and a nice quick trip. »

« Very nice property, we enjoyed our stay. I gave 4 stars because check-in communication was a bit challenging. We were coming off a grand tour and has stayed in multiple homes, and were coming through areas with little to no service. I was up front about this and was unable to get an address/check in instructions until a few hours before check-in. Every other rental we had on the trip provided address and check in instructions at least 2-3 days prior to arrival. Again, overall nice stay, but we...

« Had a great stay for a solo fly fishing trip on the Kern River. The property was just I expected based on photos and descriptions. Host communication was clear and helpful. Enjoyed the wood stove and limitless firewood each evening. Would definitely stay here again. »
