The place to stay when in Ireland!
I cannot imagine a better place to stay at in Ireland. A 4-star hotel with a feeling of a private Manor House. A huge well-maintained park on the banks of a lake. The house tastefully furnished and decorated. The restaurant fine. We loved it!!!

Teures Hotel mit Mansardenzimmer
Das Hotel liegt schön an einem ruhigen See. Die Anfahrt über eine enge Straße ist etwas beschwerlich. Das Ambiente im Haupthaus ist stilvoll, die Standardzimmer im Gartenhaus allerdings unzumutbar. Hochwertige Ausstattung, aber direkt unter dem Dach gelegen und nur ein kleines Fensterchen, das sich öffnen lässt. Dadurch staut sich die Wärme im Zimmer, Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden. Für den Preis des Zimmers haben wir mehr erwartet!

Classy country home on the lake
Lovely stay at the Ard na Sidhe Country House. Very peaceful and tranquil setting. Such a beautiful location. Wonderful gardens and very classy main house. Food was wonderful. Our rooms were in the garden house, and was clean and comfortable although a little warm during our unseasonably warm visit. Great staff all around. Easy parking and great location. Much prefer this stay over crowded Killarney.

Delightful Country House with fabulous grounds
This is a sensationally peaceful property with comfortable accommodations and excellent food. The Saturday night harp concert was transformational. Debbie at reception and Baptiste, the student intern, were especially gracious. The landscaping is undulating and thoughtfully natural. One of the best ever.

More guesthouse than hotel
This is a stunning country house, it a tranquil location. However, it is more like a guest house than a hotel. There are no facilities here at all. It is beautiful and relaxing just be aware no proper bar, no pool, no spa, no tv in rooms etc. The sister hotel The Europe is much better value for money.

Great retreat for a couple
Staff friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. Scenery lovely. Highly recommend the views from the top of the mountain across the road but be warned it is a bit of a climb

We were absolutely thrilled with our staty at Ard na Sidhe. The hotel, grounds, staff, food, everything were absolutely amazing. Debra and Alex were simply amazing. If we had to do our Ireland vacation over, we would've stayed here the whole time. Simply stunning.

We booked this hotel as part of our Honeymoon through hotels.com. We chose this hotel specifically as they advertised babysitting was available and we had our baby with us. On check in we enquired about a babysitter for that evening so we could have a meal together and were told they do not offer babysitting and this was never available at this hotel. We were meant to stay 2 nights but checked out the next morning and moved to a different hotel with babysitting. Facilities are not as advertised on hotels.com and are misleading to families.

Ard na Sidhe nailed it.
This was a beautiful, romantic setting. The house and rooms were stunning. The views across the lake and the gardens full of life and interest. We had beautiful weather which helped!! A particular mention goes to Debbie and her service staff, Ellie and Salvador. At a time when service sector is struggling, it was refreshing to see a staff who were attentive without being overbearing, who gave attention to detail, and who smiled and made eye contact. It really made all the difference - a credit to Debbie and the team she has built at Ard Na Sidhe. The fine dining was delicious - beautifully presented, and local produce. Well Done Ard Na Sidhe. You nailed it.

You should plan a vacation around this hotel!. It has one of the most spectacular views in Ireland on its own section of a lake. There is an amazing hike that leads up to a mountain top. The restaurant was the best I have been to in Ireland. It may not be easy to get there (especially without a car) but it is very much worth the effort.

This property is absolutely exquisite. The grounds alone are reason to come stay here. I would say the only 2 drawbacks we had was the breakfast was mediocre, and the WiFi signal kept cutting in and out. But the staff was fantastic, and this place is definitely a must see for a quiet overnighter or weekend. Really incredible.

Idyllic country side lodge - love it!
Sometimes you just feel at home - in a very good way! Ard na Sidhe welcomed us situated in a idyllic dreamlike woodland, close to the Killorglin lake. The gardens are well worth you getting up in the morning - to catch the early sun rays in the morning mist. Enchanting, beautiful and something you simply don´t want to miss. The hotel itself is a beautiful, classic mansion. Service was good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant top class. We stayed at the only annex 15 meters from the main house. Newly built/renovated, it was fresh, very stylish and silent. Very nice for couples and for those who simply enjoy life surrounded by fascinating nature and historical buildings.

Cannot imagine a better location in County Kerry. Easy access to all the best sights (Ring of Kerry, Dingle, Slea Head Drive, Killarney), impeccable service and great food. A gorgeous gem with a flaw
The place is truly magical and gorgeous Unfortunately when we arrived the hostess couldn’t be bothered and gave us the wrong room Please remember everyone that Welcoming is the most important part of a great stay Also the service staff seemed highly overworked A gorgeous remarkable place should be as great to its staff They did switch our rooms and tried in every way to be more gracious but the wear on the staff is evident. Owners please make better working hours for your great staff

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is very beautiful. The gardens and views are expansive and lovely. The staff are gracious and friendly. Our room was elegant, very clean and comfortable. And the restaurant is superb for both breakfast and dinner.

Great for Couples and friend groups
The location is both idyllic and practical to explore the Ring of Kerry and Dingle Penisula. My garden house room was luxurious. Breakfast and dinner scrumptious. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Romantic atmosphere is great for couples. As a solo traveler I felt safe and comfortable but a bit of the odd-person out.

Stunning house and surrounding grounds. Staff very friendly but discreet . Had dinner in the restaurant which was absolutely delicious. If you are looking to recharge your batteries this is the perfect place.
