  • Ocean Villas Penthouse A est une unité de deux chambres située au dernier étage de notre propriété de location de vacances de luxe. Récemment rénové, l'intérieur est luxueux et moderne, tout en offrant tout le confort et les installations dont vous aurez besoin pour vous sentir chez vous tout en vous relaxant et en explorant la magnifique ville balnéaire de Carlsbad, en Californie. La chambre principale est équipée d'un lit king size, la deuxième chambre a deux lits jumeaux et le salon dispose d'un canapé-lit gigogne de taille queen. La salle de bain de cette unité est séparée de la chambre principale et le patio est la plus grande de toutes les unités présentées ici à Ocean Villas.

The place was perfect for short stay to visit with my US Marine. Awesome views. Walking distance to everything. Appreciated being able to rent for one night. My only ask would have been a couple K Cups for coffee. That would be a nice touch for the price you pay.

Ocean Views

The location and the views are awesome. Walking distance to downtown Carlsbad. And beach is just down a long flight of stairs or can enjoy the ocean from the patio or living room. The furniture in the living room and kitchen table and chairs are getting old and spotted. Time to be replaced. Also in the afternoon the patio gets very hot from the sun, so an umbrella would be a nice addition.

Perfect Beach Escape

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo on the beach. The beds were comfortable, the deck overlooking the ocean spectacular, and the kitchen well stocked. The only drawback is the property is right next to the public access to the beach and was quite noisy late at night on the weekends. But would definitely return.

This place is great! Right on the beach and close to the heart of Carlsbad Village. This is my third time staying here and I like the staff They are very hard working people and very accommodating. They take very good care of their clients and are friendly and easy to work with. They take good care of the property. I have such good experiences with them and will only vacation at this facility.

Great View - Stunning Sunsets

Some of our family banded together to stay in one place so local family could share meals and sunsets with us. This was a perfect locale for us - beach was totally accessible, proximity to Carlsbad Village and Farmer's Market a big plus. Penthouse was clean and well equipped. Being in a place with ceiling and floor fans was a big plus since the temps were in the high 80's and low 90's. We are considering a return next year.

Great Place with a Great View!

We had a wonderful week in the penthouse with our family. The unit was clean, very friendly and accommodating staff and an amazing view! The unit is perfectly located to town, making walking to restaurants and shopping very easy. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Time in Carlsbad

We spent a great week in Carlsbad the first week of June. And, despite all the comments about "June gloom" we had perfect, sunny weather. The Penthouse Oceanfront location was perfect for us. We loved the easy access to the beach - just down the steps and out into the water. The large balcony gives a fantastic view of the ocean - both day and night. We used the grill most nights. We also enjoyed the fire-pit. We had plenty of room for the 6 of us. This is a great location - close to everything. The teens enjoyed their trip on the Coaster down to see the Padres play. We enjoyed the quiet of the evenings - just enjoying the sunset and the ocean breeze. A great place - we plan to come back!

Perfect vacation!

This was our second stay at Ocean Villas. It has been under new ownership the last year and has been an even better experience than our first visit two years ago. Staff was very attentive and available every day for questions or if we needed anything. Here is why you should stay at Ocean Villas - units are directly on the ocean and have mesmerizingly breathtaking views that make it difficult to pull yourself away from. Garage parking is a nice bonus too. The building is clean and well maintained and of course is close to everything - all walking distance - shops, restaurants, train station (check out the Coaster - a train that runs from Oceanside to San Diego with stops all along the way. No need for a car, parking. The kind folks at the Visitor Center just a couple blocks away from condo told us to take Coaster train to San Diego and then catch the public bus (price included in Train Ticket) to the SD zoo and then catch the bus to MidWay and if time permits take the ferry to Coronado Island. This saved us a LOT of hassle with driving, parking, gas, directions, etc). The Penthouse itself is fantastic. Very clean, spacious and comfortable (2 bed/2 bath) with a very large outside deck with everything you need - loungers, fire pit, dining table, bar table and THE best ocean view in Carlsbad. We can't wait to come back!

This is a special place!

We are preparing to visit Ocean Villas for our fifth year in a row. The location is perfect for us--the beach is out of our back door, and restaurants, a farmers market, a mid-sized grocery store, and various forms of entertainment, are all within easy walking distance. The regional train service to LA and San Diego is less than a half-mile away. The Ocean Villa staff is exceptional, always attentive, polite, welcoming, and helpful. Our unit has always been well-maintained, very clean, and well-furnished/equipped (e.g. all eating and cooking utensils, most any cooking appliance (Yes, even a crock-pot!). We always enjoy barbecuing fresh, locally bought seafood, on our patio, warmed by a gas-outdoor fire pit. Amazing sunsets (the patios face the west) occur almost nightly, accented by occasional whales, dolphins, birds, and surfers. You can walk many miles on the beach, north and south, or walk along a public promenade with locals and visitors a few hundred meters to the south. Ocean Villa furnishes beach amenities, such as umbrellas, chairs, towels, toys, and boogie boards. Private, unit-assigned parking is provided on the premises (an important benefit, especially on the weekend and in the summer). Carlsbad features a village environment, with easy access in the region to shopping, parks, entertainment, and, yes, the Pacific Ocean. This is a quiet property; it is NOT a party-house!

We miss you!

We will be back to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere! There is plenty of acitvity and entertainment available nearby or peace and quiet in the units which were very comfortable and quiet. We looked forward to the sunsets which were truly awesome nearly every night. The professional staff are friendly and always helpful, making us feel like family.

We have enjoyed a two month stay at Ocean Villas in Carlsbad the past three years for the months of January and February. We love staying at Ocean Villas. It is always a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. The ocean is right off of the patio and there are very scenic views, especially for the nightly sunset. We spend many hours on our patio and enjoy weekend barbecues with extended family. The condo is fully equipped with anything you might need. The management is very friendly and quick to respond to any requests. The beach is wonderful to walk with miles of white sand and surf. We chose Ocean Villas because of the town of Carlsbad. It is a wonderful small town within walking distance to many restaurants, Starbucks, etc. I would highly recommend Ocean Villas for an extended stay. We always acclimate quickly to our "home away from home" and are sad to leave. We have already booked Ocean Villas for next year.
