Very nice home in a great location. The walk to the beach wasn't far at all. Plenty of parking for extended family. Our only little complaint would be in the kitchen where new pots and pans are really needed. Overall it was a great place to stay. Would definitely stay again!

The rental company was very accessible for any questions or concerns we had throughout the booking and check in process. The fridge was broken before we even checked in and was replaced by the 3rd day. The house was clean and beautiful. The WiFi was good, tvs were good, dishwasher worked, stove and oven worked. AC was great. No complaints it was a great choice for a family vacation

great location many fun things to do. TV remotes had many issues with all, oven/stove, and fridge pretty dated but all in all it was a great time and we really enjoyed the stay!

Great house. Lots of room for a family.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It’s conveniently located to the beach. The house offers many amenities and conveniences with lots of room. The property was very clean. It is managed by a realty company. It is my belief that after paying $6,000 for a week ( including all fees & taxes) that the company could provide toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent. I was surprised that a maintenance man came into the house while we were out. I thought that could be taken care of after we left the property for the week. It was a non emergency issue ( changing air filter). Being on this end of the beach you are a couple miles from the boardwalk area & need to drive there. Parking is a problem. The city and private parking areas are a rip off and they are anxious to hand out tickets. So beware. It seems that if you’re staying on the north side, where this house is located, you are penalized by this. Overall it was a good experience. Very nice house. We enjoyed our time there.

Not as advertised.

Overall this property was a let down. First thing we noticed was how dirty it was. The floors were black and covered in dirt and sand. There was dust covering most all the furniture and ceiling fans. The outdoor furniture was falling apart and the dining room table top was impossible to sit at without things getting stuck to it no matter how much we tried to clean it. The dishwasher smelled like a dying animal. We had to buy cleaning products in order to be able to use the dishwasher and to try to clean the table. The listing mentioned a wagon included to help take your things to the beach. We looked everywhere and couldn’t find one. When I messaged the host I was told it must have broke and sorry for the inconvenience. Yet they sent me an email about renting one from them. Overall would not recommend staying here or at a property managed by this company.

My husband and I were on vacation with our adult children and grandchildren so we needed a large house. The house is located right across the street from the ocean and has a pretty view from the deck. The beach access directly across from the house remains closed due to erosion. There were numerous small things that were broken or not working properly. The kitchen cabinets are in total disarray. The floor was very dirty. If you walk barefoot your feet will become black. Overall I would not recommend renting this house until it is renovated.

Great House

Perfect house for a group of friends. The beach is a close walk. Balcony areas are fantastic with a beautiful view. The kitchen doesn’t have a wide variety of cookware, so if you need something special, bring it. There wasn’t a cutting board and knives were super dull, I would just bring our own next time. I would rent this house again!

Needs updating

Upon arrival we found the upstairs bathroom curtain rod lying on the floor. It would barely stay up. The floors are nasty. If you stay here wear shoes while in the house or your feet will be black. There is mold in the showers and dishwasher. Master shower handle is backwards so cold is hot and hot is cold. Outdoor furniture is falling apart. Just not a great place. Needs to be updated. Won’t stay here again.

Mother’s 86 Was a Hit

Six children were celebrating the 86th birthday of their mother. She always said she hated the beach but this experience has changed all of that. The ocean views were breathtaking for her. The cleanliness of the property was tops for her.

Celebration of Life

We were in CB to have a celebration of life memorial at the Island North Gazebo, rose ceremony @ the pier and reception @ high tide. The house was the perfect amount of space. Being in walking distance could not have been better with going back and forth to get things set up. The only issue we had was navigating the stairs being 50+ and getting everything out by 10AM Cleaning lady was waiting to get in and it just took awhile for us to pack up the fridge etc. I highly recommend a late check-out if available or clean out the fridge etc the night before.

Absolutely Amazing!!!

My family and I wanted a get a way at the beach and this was better than our dreams. This property was perfect and was equipped for my one year old son (crib and baby gate). The layout of the property was perfect and spacious. I highly recommend this property for an amazing family weekend.

Great location, not very clean

Positives: great location with beautiful views and beach access just across the street (open in June, 2022). It was quiet and we had no issues with location. It was affordable for 6 bedrooms which we needed. It was comfortable and had enough seating and kitchen stuff. The deck was large with beautiful views. It had cute decor. Negatives: it wasn’t very clean. We found a baby toy in the middle of the floor and a pacifier on the couch so we know those weren’t swept. Our feet were black within minutes of walking on the floors. We ended up buying our own swiffer to clean it ourselves. The dishes all needed washed before we could use them too. Also, the mattress pads in the kids room beds (day bed and crib) were filthy and sand covered. I had to remove them. There was also someone else’s T-shirt hanging in that closet. There were 2 safety issues. The door to the top balcony and the one off the master bedroom wouldn’t lock. Our toddlers could then open the door by themselves and get out. The slats on the railing were horizontal which meant they could climb it. Luckily my boys listened when I explained they couldn’t go out by themselves but a more rambunctious toddler may be unsafe there. I put in a maintenance request and they came but couldn’t fix it. They gave us sticks to block the door but the toddlers just picked them up and moved them. The other safety issue is the top balcony gets extremely hot when the sun is on it. It burnt a few feet in our family. Rugs or even a warning sign would be good. Overall, I’d recommend it as it’s a great location and affordable for the space you get. It just needs to be cleaned better and some safety issues looked at.

Spacious beach house with spectacular ocean views!

Our extended family had a wonderful Easter holiday at fun Carolina Beach. The house had plenty of space for 12 of us, and we loved the open concept with spacious ocean view balconies. Fun decor and adequately equipped. We enjoyed our daily walks to the boardwalk and were happy to be at the quieter end of the beach. Gorgeous sunsets!
