« This is a convenient place to stay for the Grand Canyon. We just stayed one night as we were passing through for the day. They have a nice path cut through the property to take a walk. »

« The property was very nice with a large yard. There were a lot of songbirds and an eagle! House was very clean with everything you need. We explored the area doing a lot of hiking and was a very relaxing place to come back to. The porch is amazing even when it rained. There are 2 benches at the creek but it's easier if you bring camp chairs for the firepit which we didnt have. A wonderful place to stay!! »

Wanting to have some peace and quiet when others were coming up last year led us to look elsewhere and this is where we decided to stay...and we loved it. This year we decided to book it before we even checked with my other family members. You don't need to struggle to find a reason to stay here. « Excellent Property. Excellent Logistics-very close to PA Grand Canyon and fishing Darling Run. Property was in excellent shape and offered the group the most relaxing and tranquil stay. Joe provided open communication throughout the process and was an excellent host! We have stayed in other lodges but the “Octagon” by far has been one of our best stays!!! »

« The place was exactly as presented in the description. Very comfortable and welcoming. The communications with the owners and the site manager was excellent. The kitchen was well equipped with a great stove and oven for our meal prep. The location by the creek was fantastic. Access to the rail to trail was a short drive.We will be back! »

« The cabin is in a beautiful mountain setting surrounding by picturesque forest. Everything was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable and living spaces accommodating. The outside yard and picnic area was spacious and a great spot to stargaze with family. Great home base to get to Pine Creek and the Rail Trail, PA Grand Canyon, Ski Sawmill, Cherry Springs State Park, and countless hiking trails. Easy to communicate with the host. We enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back in...

« This is the nicest cabin we have ever rented! The entire cabin was VERY clean and fully stocked with needed paper products, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc. ALL mattresses were high quality. Kitchen was fully stocked with good quality items. Plenty of towels, including a basket full just for the hot tub! High quality game equipment including pool table and cues, corn hole, poker chips, etc. Host quickly responded to our needs. Pond was full of fish- mostly little ones in this little pond-...
