The house was perfect for our group. The boys loved to fish off the dock, kayak and paddle board. We had fun game nights and would end the night watching a movie in the theatre room. Lake Norman is beautiful! Check in process was seamless and communication with his was great.

Our stay at Lakefront Manor was a mix of beauty and frustration. The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, with stunning lakefront views and solid amenities. However, several maintenance and communication issues impacted our experience. At check-in, the window sills, back patio, and dock was dirty, with spiderwebs and green moss everywhere. Inside, we reported immediately small water stains in a master bath wall and broken 3D glasses in the theater room, but there was no resolution other than “housekeeping and the team would be informed”. The fridge water tasted awful, due to a worn-out filter, (sent pictures of red sign and there was again no resolution other than the housekeeping team would be informed) and the exercise equipment, including the treadmill, was nonfunctional (said update) and bicycle too. Wi-Fi was unreliable throughout our stay, and we had to purchase bottled water—an inconvenience while caring for elderly parents. The host was polite but the replies were procedural rather than solution-oriented. Not one problem was solved. For a luxury property, this lack of proactive maintenance and guest care was disappointing. There’s also a radon mitigation system on site, which raised health concerns for us, especially as our father, currently battling cancer, was traveling with us. Given the high cost and lack of follow-through, we wouldn’t rent again. Booking last-minute may be wiser than planning ahead, especially if you need reliable comfort and care.

This home was perfect for our week long stay with 2 children and our dog. It was super important for us to find a property with easy lake access, a decent yard for our dog, and amenities to keep us entertained when we wanted to relax inside. This is one of few properties I found with beach access to the lake - perfect for kids that want to use the kayak, paddle board, fish, and explore the water. Also no steep stairs to get down to the dock/lake, just an easy paved walkway - I didn't worry about my kids or dog going back and forth. Ample, comfortable seating on the dock, shore and all levels of the outside of the home. I enjoyed my morning coffee on the screened in porch listening to the birds each morning. The theatre room was a fav! Gaming tables and sauna were a hit as well. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything we could have needed. This really is the perfect home to enjoy both inside and outside. We had everything we needed and the hosts were super friendly and responsive. We would return again.

Wow what a great place to escape to for a long weekend. We wanted a home with a water view but other than that we aren’t a group that tends to make plans so we just kind of winged it. The house has plenty of things to do if you don’t want to leave (which I didn’t). Take a steam shower… watch a movie in the theatre… hop on a treadmill… we ventured out and found restaurants but also took advantage of still having access to food delivery service. Looking forward to coming back when it’s warmer!

Loved this property. Relaxing on the lake with multiple game tables, movie theater and sauna. We had a great time with family playing games sitting by the lake and watching movies! It has all the amenities you could want and a quiet setting. The sauna was the perfect way to start each day too.

The host and everything about this property was amazing! This was a friend's vacation trip and it was perfect. Plenty to do at the property and the area, even during off season. Plenty of space but it still felt like home. Our host Riley was fantastic from start to finish, they were very accommodating to all of our needs and were quick to respond when we wanted to add an extra day to our trip and ended up needing to bring our dogs at the last minute when our sitter canceled. Make sure to bring extra toilet paper, paper towels and kitchen hand towels but other than that they thought of everything else and have plenty of supplies for cooking and having fun. While we were in the area we rented a boat, played mini golf, tried out some great restaurants and went to the Panthers/Saints game and Carolina won, whooohooo goooo Panthers!!!

- Communication with the owner was top notch. Best I have experienced with any VRBO house! - House was super clean and had everything we needed. - Would recommend this house to family and friends. - Not a ton of restaurants in the area but lots of grocery stores so I would just recommend planning on eating in. Neighbors 828 was one restaurant we enjoyed and we rented a pontoon boat from Saltshaker Marine which we highly recommend.

Ryley, our host was amazing to work with before, during and after the trip. Extremely responsive. The house is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are wonderful. The location is perfect to reach the north and south side of the lake when boating, and is located on an inlet that provided less lake activity and privacy. Slug we decide to visit lake Norman again we will without a doubt rebook this home. Thank you for an amazing experience!

My family has stayed in several different properties on Lake Norman and this one is BY FAR our favorite!! Having 2 master suites on the main floor, an area for children upstairs, the entire downstairs with games, bar, movie theater, etc. and the ease of walking down to the lake were some of our favorites! The cove is very peaceful with little traffic coming in! We saw so much wildlife, such as fish, ducks, geese, turtles, etc! 10/10 recommend to any family!!!

Our family spent a week in this house and absolutely had a blast. We enjoyed being able to drive and dock for dinner at various restaurants on the water as well as cooking in in the well stocked kitchen. All the beds were comfortable and we slept great all week. The playroom was our favorite part of the house. We utilized the poker table, sauna, arcade, air hockey and especially the theater room. We watched Sports the entire week and loved having such a wonderful set-up to enjoy such important games and tournaments. Ryley was an excellent host and the communication was rock solid throughout. Zero issues or concerns about this entire process. Thank you Ryley!

The house was the star of our stay. It had all the amenities that you could ever want in a house and the location was a dream. Easy access to the lake down from the little beach or off of the dock (cannonball!). Kayaking and paddle boarding in the cove was perfect for beginners or the more adventurous could head out to the lake. Overall, great experience. Communication with the owner was quick, easy and timely. Great property! Highly recommend!!
