„Nettes englisches Hotel. Kleiner Nachteil waren die beigen Teppiche, die doch schon sehr fleckig waren und das Loch in der Badezimmertür. Ansonsten sehr leckeres Frühstück und hervorragende Betreuung. Die Lage ist super, direkt neben der Busstation in Castle Donigton und eine Straße weiter ist ein kleiner Supermarkt und die Post.“

„I arrived pretty late and I was the last one to check in, the lady who assisted me was polite and helpful. My room was smart and warm. By the way parking was a breeze, didn't struggle to get space. Slept well and the hot full English breakfast was a delight to have. Place is cosy, warm, clean and has exceptional staff. 10 out of 10...“

If you looking for a hotel witch keeps the old Victorian style from the past you should not miss to stay there. It will be not for thus who are expecting the new modern chic. We loved the warm welcome and the great hospitality from the owner and his colleagues. We enjoyed our stay and it would be our first choice again. The breakfast is not the best, but the a la carte ...

„Bed and bedding comfy with 2 choices of pillows. Good hot water and pressure. Only draw back was the reverse cycle was not controllable due to not having a down button. Temp stays on 25 or you could put it up not down. Had a standing fan fan which we had on all night and heating off. Too cold for windows open. “
