« We were locked out of the cabin upon arrival; apparently, the alarm system and lock was malfunctioning. We were eventually able to get inside, but the alarm system continued to malfunction all week, beeping frequently and always with errors. There is no Internet and no Wi-Fi to speak of; the owner installed a HughesNet satellite dish in the middle of trees; it only works if the wind blows the trees out of the way. Starlink, mounted on the roof, would be far more reliable and probably cheaper....

« the road to approach is dirt/gravel so be aware. cute little cosy cabin. the outdoor fireplace is the best. everything was super clean and comfy. best stocked kitchen in a while. indoor gas fireplace did not work but host gave a small reimbursement so that was ok. linens were nice and everything was provided. not really a quiet place as there was a local barking dog and a bulldozer and a close neighbor, but, we enjoyed ourselves. »

« Excellent location, spacious house with a lovely deck for sitting outside a reading or listening to the birds. Quiet with plenty of deer grazing just outside the window, but only 10-15 minutes from Elijay and other nearby attractions. We had a great time and the host was very accommodating with a last- minute schedule change. Would definitely visit again! »

« A very nice and comfortable cottage. Our stay was short but enjoyed the time we spent here. Great place to enjoy a cup of coffee lakeside as the sun rises over the mountains. I would stay again if the opportunity ever was to come again! »

« We had a wonderful time. Cabin was cozy, location was perfect, price was appropriate. Cabin has three full bathrooms, so it is comfortable. We went in late December 2025 - early January 2026 during a cold wave. There was no snow unfortunately, but boy it was cold. However, the heating system worked fine. « Beautiful,clean cabin with many onsite amenities! We enjoyed tubing on the river on property, soaking in the hot tub, making s’mores in fire pit, watching deer and geese roam the yard, visited two pools and played a round of putt putt! We visited and hiked Amicacola Falls, Tumbling Waters and Fort Mountain! We rode the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad and visited downtown Blue Ridge and Ellijay!
