« Overall, the stay was great. Location is perfect for walking around downtown Raleigh. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The front desk and housekeeping staff were above and beyond when it came to requesting extra towels and sundries (coffee, cups, etc.) and telling us about local information. « It's an old facility and in need of improvements. The elevator was slow and a bit spotty. The escalators were not operating part of the time. The AC in my room wasn't working as well as the AC in the hallways. The staff was polite and tried their best. Bottom line is for the rates they charge the hotel is not worth the expense. »

« The room was clean, and the staff was very helpful. The hotel is conveniently located near the amphitheater and is easy to access. Breakfast was good. Because the hotel is close to the road, the room was a bit noisy, but white noise helped minimize the disturbance. The bed was very soft and sat low to the ground. We would have preferred a firmer mattress. We had reserved a king room but were given a room with a queen bed and a daybed instead. Overall a good experience for a one night stay. »
