The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The view was just fantastic into the mountains. I enjoyed the morning walk with my dog.Lots of games and things to do in the cabin youâre not getting bored anytime soon. We enjoyed our stay very much.
It was a fabulous place for our getaway. The outdoor space was exceptional. The hot tub and views were spectacular. Even in the drizzly weather, we were able to enjoy the outdoors with the seating and games on the lower deck. There were thoughtful amenities inside and outside the cabin. The property manager was responsive and helpful.
Wonderful location, just 20 minutes to Bryson City, and easy driving distance to amazing roads and hikes. Very well appointed, the owner obviously makes a distinct effort to make the cabin as good as possible.
I loved this cabin since it was so close to many beautiful hiking spots and had literally everything you could ever ask for. It was incredibly well stocked with pans, spices, washer/dryer etc. The host was incredibly communicative and was very quick to respond to questions. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting some peace anf quiet for a perfect getaway. Btw the views and hot tub are amazing!
I took my mom here for her first retirement vacation. It was her first cabin stay ever and it was everything she had dreamed of and more. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. There are honestly so many amenities that we didn't even have to use half the stuff we brought. Plenty of supplies to make fires, quality tools, kitchenware and seasonings for cooking, lots of entertainment (when we discovered the entire deck underneath the top deck, we were blown away!). The view, the hot tub, the lighting, the deck was a dream. The layout of the house was perfectly cozy but gave us the perfect amount of room we needed for the two of us. We would have been just as comfortable bringing two more people. Everything was clean and the communication with the host was spectacular and was very accommodating to our needs when it came to our check in and out times. All in all a perfect trip. We also really appreciated the streaming services that were available on the TV so that we didn't have to sign into our own. Only things I have to remark on where that we couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace. We followed the instructions in the manual from the binder but it still wasn't lighting. Maybe it was out of gas. Also the DVD player remote in the living room was not responding (dead batteries?). I also couldn't figure out how to connect the Vizio sound system to the tv. But we were more than happy without those things and had a splendid time with all the accommodations. Thank you!!
We stayed here about two years ago. There have been some improvements and other changes. We werenât huge fans of the number of cameras on the porch areas in the back. We werenât aware there had been so many installed and made it a bit hard to relax on the wooden decks when the red lights came on when you moved and you knew someone, somewhere, was watching. I would recommend taking those down. Otherwise, itâs a sweet place to stay and we love it!
Loved our stay! Accommodated our family of 6 and 2 dogs perfectly. Very clean, lots of amenities that werenât even listed. Loved the hot tub after a very cold day in the town. Just what our family needed during the holidays.
The property was beautifully done. We enjoyed the cabin look and tastefully decorated for the season. Very well stocked for everything you need for your stay. The view of the mountains is breathtaking from the back porch. Enjoy the sunsets! Cabin is very cozy and comfortable. When we return to enjoy the NC mountainsâŠwe will definitely book again. Very close to Fontana Lakes and the Dam. Close to Bryson City, Cherokee and the Smokey Mountains. Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you enjoyed walking and hiking like we did. The area near the home has many. We enjoyed the day and evening hikes in the mountains. The gravel roads to the home could look scary but as long as you are driving slowly and during the day you should be fine. We drove to the home on a suburban and we were fine.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin had everything we needed for our time near the Smokies, and thought and care were put into making the place guest-ready. Good communication from host, expectations were clear from the get-go. A bonus for us: we really enjoyed having two decks.
I cannot express how amazed by the view, the cleanliness, the space inside this property! What an amazing experience! We loved exploring the mountains then coming home to a movie by a warm fire! I have already sent the link to so many friends! We will return!
Was an awesome house with a beautiful deck! Not too far from the tail of the dragon. Would recommend updating the listing to detail how to exit the property. Definitely not fun if you have to run out right before or after dark.
Great place to stay, himey, had everything we needed
Beautiful virws, loved the deck. Convenient to Bryson City. Would love to come again. Only issue was parking in driveway. One car was large, other was small manual car. Had issues backing up driveway.
First the good. The cabin is well maintained, clean, has great views, and the deck was really nice with comfortable furniture. The bed in the master bedroom was above average comfortable. The owner was responsive when I had questions.
The management company, Evolve... May not exist? Or maybe there just aren't humans employed there. I got some automated emails, one of which directed me to contact them to pay the pet fee. Their website offers no contact details. Their "contact us" URL redirects to their FAQ. I tried responding to the booking confirmation email, and got an automatic reply stating the inbox isn't monitored, directing me to their "contact us" page (see above). Their advertising claims they offer 24/7 guest support. I would complain it's false advertising but who would I complain to? I made every reasonable attempt to contact them, and waited 48 hours for a response. From my perspective they do not exist except as a website that presumably claimed a portion of my booking fee.
Like I said above, the place was really nice and the owner was responsive. My only complaint about the actual property itself is it's about 15 minutes further from Bryson and Cherokee than the location indicated in Vrbo (Almond NC).
This cabin definitely lived up to the expectations. We were extremely comfortable and well-provisioned for our week on the NC/TN mountains. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, and the wifi was surprisingly good for being out in the middle of nowhere (the teenagers really appreciated this). The driveway was definitely a challenge the first time but easy peasy after that; narrow but not difficult to navigate. The secluded gravel roads around the community were excellent for walking our dogs. Would definitely recommend with the caveat that you should be careful if you have a lowered car - the driveway isnât ideal for very low vehicles.
Comfortable cabin decorated in typical mountain decor. It is conveniently located close to Bryson City, Cherokee, Great Smoky Mts and more. Grandkids enjoyed fishing off the dock of the community pond. Great deck with lots of seating, and beautiful view.
