My wife and I celebrated this years wedding anniversary for the first time in the mountains of Blue Ridge. First, our Host was very accommodating throughout our stay. The cabin was immaculant and as advertised. We were pleasantly surprised to find a extra bedroom uptairs with a gaming table. The mountain view was amazing and we absolutely loved being on both the top and bottom decks everyday. Thank You for such a great environment and experience.We will definitely be back.

Perfect Escape

This place is absolutely as advertised and more. The perfect place to get away, but still be close enough to everything you need. Hosts provided great information, detailed directions, and were very responsive to all questions. The view is amazing and the cabin is very comfortable.Private path to the lake is very well maintained. Loved every second. Will return and recommend to family and friends.

Just perfect!

This was truly a perfect trip to celebrate my birthday with the family. The cabin was amazing. My husband and I enjoyed the king suite and kitchette set up on the lower level. Every detail was considered from comfortable beds and pillows, plush towels and even a smores set up including roasting sticks marshmallows and chocolate. Hosts were very responsive to any questions we had. The location was perfect too! 15 minutes to Blue Ridge and 15 minutes to Ellijay. Close by to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again! Thank you

A fantastic view with so much more!

We were looking for a place with a great view. We found it and so much more. The location is quiet and serene. The house itself is airy and full of light, but also cozy and inviting. All spaces were clean and thoughtfully arranged to make the stay comfortable and relaxing. Dave and Shannon were extremely attentive, thorough, understanding and patient. Truly a delight to deal with. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Escapes by Dave & Shannon

The Hosts were amazing to communicate with at anytime. They provided everything at this beautiful cabin. Only thing a visitor needs is their clothes and groceries if choose to cook. The views were very relaxing, especially sitting in the hot tub. There are two fire pits which are very well placed on the property.The walking trail was well lit and clean and easy to walk. This place is stunning, and my favorite part was the private room downstairs that has a small kitchen and full bathroom. I definitely give this place 10 I will return!!!!Melissa E.

Beautiful Mountain Cabin

This place is exactly how you would imagine it to be. The views from the balcony were breathtaking! The hosts were amazing and communicated very nicely! They were able to accommodate us with early check in after explaining how we were traveling with a baby and it was much appreciated! The place was clean, beautifully kept and everything you needed was there! The thought into the details made the experience that much better. From having a play pen for little ones to even walking sticks to walk down the trail. We loved it! I would 100% recommend staying here! Thank you again!

A perfect getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was. What really stood out was the sense of seclusion—you feel like you're tucked away in your own peaceful little corner of nature. Beautiful Stay

This host was wonderful! The cabin was clean and spacious with everything we needed! The views from the decks are breathtaking! We enjoyed our Easter Sunday on the deck taking in the sights! Dave and Sharon were so kind and let us extend checkout at the last minute. Only one thing to note is that the parking is tight for full sized vehicles, but we made it work!

An incredible home with amazing views

My family had an absolutely perfect stay when we visited over Spring Break. We spent almost the entire vacation at the house, enjoying the views, the lake, and the hot tub. The large porches on each level were excellent —we cooked meals on the grill, made s’mores on the fire table, and our dogs especially enjoyed being outside on them. Dave and Shannon were very friendly and helpful when we had questions. We’re looking forward to coming back!

Cozy, get away cabin

Father and son time to get away and spend couple of days fishing and exploring the area. The cabin is well maintained and super comfortable. We had a great few days being in the forest, enjoying the mountain top view, and local fishing lake.

Great stay!

Extremely smooth process booking, paying, checking-in, and staying at the cabin. The owner did a great job with the pre-arrival paperwork, explaining all the details about the cabin in the paperwork, from lighting the grill to operating the TVs! A storm prior to our arrival affected the hot tub, but the owner quickly resolved the issue and we were able to enjoy the hot tub that very evening. The cabin is beautiful with amazing views. Beautiful proposal

The cabin is gorgeous! The road to the cabin is very narrow and very windy (a little scary). The view is stunning. We had a wedding proposal on the porch overlooking the mountains and water. Wish we could've started longer. Also, host keeps in contact with you to make sure you are well taken care of!

Birthday Trip

This property was great! Excellent views!!! The drive up and down is a little tricky due to the road not being very wide. They have a great coffee selection and everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable as well. Very easy to check in and out. The attention to detail was great with the snore's kit. It was such a nice touch. Hot tub was very clean also. Definitely would stay here again!

Great Cabin, View and Location

Great cabin with beautiful views, access to a lake, and near area hiking and site seeing. Owners very responsive and fixed a small maintenance issue immediately. We had a great stay and will likely return.
