I was greeted very warmly upon arrival and was pleased to find a heater in my room and a hot menu for dinner. The cottage pie was excellent, accompanied by a wonderful salad. The staff could not have been more attentive. Will definitely return.

This place is adorable and made my trip! The ambiance of staying in an 1800’s farm house fits Vermont perfectly and it’s in a nice, quiet spot. There’s a quaint living room to hang out in with a hot chocolate bar and serves as a great reading spot. The staff was always around and ready to help. Breakfast the next morning was great and to top it all off I woke up to a fresh snow storm.

Stayed one night for a ski trip and was great for what we needed. Would have preferred breakfast to start a bit earlier than 7:30 as we wanted to be at the slopes earlier but the food was great.

The 200 yr old farmhouse was in good condition and the exposed wooden beams were combined with a very modern bathroom. The breakfast was excellent.

Inn keeper was exceptional. Mom really made our stay. True warm hospitality. Delicious breakfast. Highly enjoyed fire pits out back, the lush backyard, and the provided games. No elevator on-site if that bothers you. The new owners are working hard to restore and update the property.

My husband and I had a great stay. We stayed 2 nights and just loved it. Victoria the Inn Keeper and family made you feel right at home. The home, rooms and grounds are well kept. We enjoyed the breakfast that included a special for that day, blueberry french toast which was yummy and made to order. We would highly recommend this property if your looking for a cozy, clean and friendly place. Along with being in a great location to ski resorts, shopping, restaurants, walking, hiking and just a nice place to hang out and relax.

For the price they charge, not worth it. I woke up in the morning feezing cold, apparently, there was no heat in the middle of a single digit temperature. And of course there was no heat in the shower. Glad i only stayed for one night

Thank you Cecilia for your review. We take our reviews very seriously. We apologies for the inconvenience of the heat issue you experienced. As you was made aware at breakfast that there had been an issue with the Boiler over night, something that really nobody would have seen till morning. This is a one off issue, to reassure our guests. Which when recognized by the staff, straight away had the problem fixed by a technician. Everyone including your self was notified at breakfast.

Wonderful breakfast with home made strawberry muffins and berry compote French toast. Attic room was clean if a little austere with minimal grounded outlets, an issue if you need to charge a laptop. Single zone heating means attic cooks and requires you to jack open window all night

Thank you for the review. We take on all comments seriously. Unfortunately we are an 1810 home so power out lets are allocated to each room and the heating is set to heat whole house to accommodate everyone in the winter time. We are really glad you enjoyed your stay please come back and see us again some time.

Thank you for your review. We take everyone’s comments serious. Not our first winter here but was the first snow fall when you visited and staff have address the issues you have mentioned, Staff on call for guest who have trouble with Keurig or heating if needed. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
