« Our family of 5 plus grandma stayed for a week in July and it was perfect. The house was clean and stocked with the kitchen essentials we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, large backyard and jacuzzi. The location was also great - central to Schroon Lake and Lake George. The owners were also very responsive. Will consider again for future Adirondacks vacations!! »

« Impeccably clean, quiet, and in a very convenient location. Included all the amenities I needed, and then some. Close to many hiking trails and small towns like Chestertown (check out the Bullhouse restaurant) and North Creek (Gore Mountain gondola, Izzy’s Market & Deli, Barkeater Chocolates). It’s also a quick drive to Lake George, but I was looking to avoid crowds. Nice bonus to have Tripp Pond on the property for swimming and kayaking (hint: arrive early in the day or later in the afternoon...

« We had a great week at Birchwood Cottages!! The cottage itself was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the kayaks, SUP boards, beach toys, etc that they have available for everyone to use. We were there during a major storm, and lost power. We immediately were checked on and assured that the generator was on so we would at least have water. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had. My youngest is already asking for us to book for next summer. »
