Ein schönes Hotel, sehr nettes Personal. In der direkten Nähe hat der L-Train seine Haltestelle. Daher hört man diese im Zimmer. Das Zimmer war sauber, hatte genügend Handtücher und das Bett war sehr gut. In der Großstadt ist es nun einmal lauter als auf dem Lande. Das ganze Plastikgeschirr beim Frühstück ist für Europäer gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber in den USA halt Standart. Ich würde das Hotel wieder buchen.

The check in was amazing since my flight was delayed. They worked with me to have my key card ready since I was getting in late and fast check in. Rooms clean love that the parking garage was next door not free but more reasonable than the actual garage price. Breakfast was hot and many different alternatives hot cereal and cold cereal hot waffles, sausage turkey and pork, drinks.

Indifferent staff. Breakfast did not open til 8. Styrofoam . Handicap bathroom you had to go down a floor. Same menu for breakfast same both days. No hot eggs.

Dale, Thank you for your review. I apologize that your stay was lack-luster and indifferent. It seems like the largest let down was the complimentary breakfast. We are seeking approval to heighten the quality of the breakfast plates and utensils. This is good advice for weekend travelers, on Saturday and Sunday mornings the breakfast items are the same and are: Hard boiled eggs, biscuits & gravy, pork sausage, and then the more continental items that are also available each day. The breakfast included is not what it was the last time I stayed here. The eggs were dry and they no longer have salsa, cheese or hot sauce to make them palatable. The sausages were over cooked but the biscuits an gravy were fine. They only have white bread now and no bagels or yogurt. Overall, the breakfast included is a disappointment.

The desk person who checked me in was horrible. Not hospitable at all. Made me feel like i was being a burden to her when all I was trying to do was check into my hotel room. She had no smile, no warmth, no pleasant greeting. Nothing to offer me except cold and abrupt service. I told my wife we won't be staying at this hotel again. There are too many other hotels downtown to be messing around with this place again.

Parking was a plus, and to us a very important perk. Housekeeping could have used an upgrade. There were areas not dusted/cleaned that I assume were missed, especially in the bathroom. The warm water while showering was a bit lacking, i.e. the pressure would go in and out, get very hot and then get freezing. Very frustrating. But that aside, we loved this hotel. We had come from the Hyatt which supposedly was rated much higher, but we could write a book about the negatives and the expense. So yes, we recommend LaQuinta and loved our stay, even if it was for only one day.

Its a good budget hotel. But don't expect more. I found some things very strange. They don't provide water in the rooms and I don't mean bottled mineral water but even normal tap water with glasses. Only hand soap is provided. No other toiletries like toothpaste. They offer complimentary breakfast which is good. But no options for vegetarians. So if you are a vegetarian or vegan, I won't recommend this. On the whole I would rate this average for a 3 star experience

Convenient to Amtrak and the Loop. Great staff and decent breakfast. Heads up if your back is sensitive that the mattresses are very soft - but this seems to be typical with most hotels these days.

Terrible, breakfast was overcrowded and nothing to eat that was healthier than waffles and sugar. No fruit, no space to seat. They use plastic for cups and non recyclable plates for food. Ugly unclean and staff not nice at all

It's the first hotel we've stayed at where you had to wait for around 15 minutes to 20 minutes for breakfast to be served (Weekends) due to many guest eating at the same time. The way they're serving breakfast shocked me as well as they're using like a coupon system. Overall, the location of the hotel is very convenient but parking is very expensive.
