Verbesserungswürdig: Ausstattung und Zustand der Unterkunft
Although the room was clean there was zero hot water for the whole stay. I thought it was a fluke the first night but no hot water the 2nd second day prompted me to tell the the front desk and they mentioned they were having problems but would check into it. On the 3rd night was assured it was fixed but alas still none and when i told the front desk again they implied I was not telling the truth. cold showers are a bummer.
tips:
-pack light or ask for a lower level room. was on 3rd floor and there was no assistance with luggage and had a quite heavy piece of luggage so getting it up the stairs was challenging but a guest saw my struggle and took mercy on me and helped
- minor thing but you have to request amenities to be replenished like coffee pods and cups as its not automatic.
- just public street parking available which can be quite challenging to find a spot
I'm know to be patient on STX as I grew up there but it was disappointing. Besides the cold showers the other stuff was minor but all accumulated led to rating however it is reflected in the price. Its very reasonably priced so you get what you pay for.
I will say the rooms were clean, the bed was comfy, wifi and the Air conditioning worked well
