Hôtel près de Christmas Woods Santa Claus Museum, Yamanakako, Yamanakako

« Belle étape »

« Oui super »

« Some hotels need renovation, but it's too late for this one. Very old buildings, beddings, and decoration. The onsen is very old and rusty. Beds are very small. Staff try their best to be helpful, but the room is not ready on time, and room service is inexistant. Limited parking and dining options. »

« Charmant!

« The owner was rely helpful . Very clean place , quiet . Big room , Japanese style breakfast , very good. Very close to the bus terminal . Bike rental . Highly recommended . »

« Great location, beautiful home. Communication was excellent, the beds were comfortable. Great view of Fuji. My only concern would be the mold in the downstairs bathroom. Looks like an outside leak inside the walls coming through. I did notice a mold/musty smell from it and had a couple headaches while staying there. Either from the mold or the storm that came through. »

« The place is clean and nice. If you like the feeling of a sort of ryokan in the woods where deer walk through the garden, you might like it. Note that there are no staff on site and the only option to cook is a microwave. The place is best for people with their own transport who do not want to cook but want peace and quiet in a forest. It is up in the woods behind Yamanakako, further back than the map in Expedia makes it seem. If you find the Yamanakako Village Office on the map, trace west...
