„We thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the long weekend! We had 3 generations together celebrating birthdays. The house is spacious yet log cabin cozy in the woods-remote but not too remote. The piano was an added bonus!! We enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit and morning coffee /meals on the deck. Lots of games! Cacapon State Park is a hop, skip and jump away and we hiked each day exploring nature and beautiful views. Cacapon also has a nice gift shop and a cute beach, we never made it to the beach ...

The creek was good for floating and there were some nice trails. Close to a grocery store but still completely secluded. Lots of indoor and outdoor games to play for adults and little ones . Wrap around porch with many tables - 2 comfy screened in areas up stairs and down stairs !
