we are glad that you liked our hotel we are so sorry that there was no wardrobe. This is a historic property and the rooms are kept original hence no cabinet. but we do have rooms that dose have a wardrobe please contact us at our front desk and we can help resolve this issue

A fuir!Hotel sale et vétuste ( cafard, humidité, propreté du linge, cheveux sur le carrelage de la douche,pommeau de la douche descellé du mur…)Heureusement que nous avions réservé que pour une nuit. Dommage car le bâtiment est très joli et l aspect ancien de celui ci ne serait pas un problème si cet hôtel était entretenu.

We got there in the evening and I was alone in the lobby while my kids were in the car... it was a strange.. Nothing happened, but I was just feeling weird... The hotel probably used to be great, but now, it's dark and creepy... Lots of dark corners and empty spaces... while the lobby is crowded with old stuff. Anyhow, the room was quite small and old, but clean... The "breakfast" is NOT a breakfast. There was litterally 4 muffins and old coffee... We stayed there 2 nights, and while all was "ok", I don't think I would be coming back...

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay with us, sometimes the historical aspect can be taken as "creepy" but a majority of our guests choose us specifically for that aspect. As for the breakfast issue coffee is always made fresh every morning and we do only serve a continental breakfast which is considered a cold breakfast it consists of muffins, bread, bagels,and cereal however we have added hot biscuits and gravy to our spread. Once again Thank you for your feedback and we hope if you choose to stay with us again we can change your opinion for the better.

Si tu n'as pas le choix
Hotel de passage, il n'y en a pas beaucoup sur cette route. Je te dirais que tu fais avec. Surement sur hôtel dans les année 70, mais aucune rénovation depuis. Wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre.

Bien pour une nuit
Accueil sympa, ville pas terrible, resto au alentour très bof. Hôtel au décor rustique mais très sympa. La douche marchait mal (pb de pression). Nous y sommes resté qu'une nuit en transit de palm beach à fort meyer beach. Ça fait le job!

Le prix ne vaut pas l'état de l'hotel. Le déjeuner continental très ordinaire. Le lit était confortable et le mobilier très beau, une chance car le reste laisse à désirer. Eau chaude pas facile, même pas besoin d'eau froide...

This property could be a GEM, but is so badly-managed it is a shame. There was no coffee the morning I left. I waited for 40 minutes. No one apologized. Look at their reviews - they have not been able to serve coffee for about a month, but yet they fail to fix it. The bed was so bad it sounded like old dried canvas each time you move. The towels are thread bare. Toiletries as advertised is two bars of soap and shampoo. The AC would ONLY cool my room down to 82, and that was ONLY in the early morning. When I went to bed it was 84. There was a bug on the sink. The water runs yellow at first. The furniture is old and dirty. Don't believe Patel's answers - look at her reviews - she apologizes it it not up to your expectations and then FIXES nothing. It is a magnificent Historical Inn with people running it who literally have NO clue how to run a hotel. When I told the Husband owner at check in "I have always wanted to stay here" - His Response "REALLY?". WOW. Oh yes - no WIFI in the rooms even though advertised. They say you can go to the lobby for WIFI.

Well...the hotel is old we didn't have high expectations. They seemed to be under construction in some of the rooms. Would of been nice to know in advance. Continental breakfast is crappy. But there was a nice breakfast place across the street. The place has potential was probably really something back in the day.

I asked to see the room prior to getting a key. When I said I'd rather not stay, it was explained it was to late to cancel for a refund. Halls dirty and dark, ice machine STILL not repaired, no lounge as advertised, NO INTERNET as advertised, room not clean, pillows and under covers yellow, stained. TV did not work. Even when Expedia contacted the desk to request a refund, they refused. This should not be on the Expedia hotel list, it is not the typical hotel usually represented. FILTHY is not strong enough.

Hello Mitzi, I remember checking you and tending to you needs let me start with I have personally made sure all your needs were met! Yes when we checked you in the room we gave, the internet was not working because of the power outage and no you didn’t immediately came back to the desk requesting a refund it was approx two hours later and as we have clearly stated our policy about cancellation, and to resolve your problem while you were staying we gave you free upgraded room which was two bedroom apartment with working tv, ac, internet, clean sheets and towels and I moved you there after showing your husband the room and he agreed that this was an amazing place, I am sorry for the inconvenience that was caused by the change of rooms! But please always post the whole story mind this that this is a historic place so not everything will be new and we are trying our best to make sure all of your need were met and it definitely was by the 4 hour of you checking in which you were not at the property for two hours! So I hope you have a good day and will stop trying to destroy small businesses after getting a 100 dollar room when other hotels in the area are for 300 per night I hope you understand

The toilet would not flush and the shower would not drain. There was a noisy party going on in the lobby. Overall terrible experience, I would not recommend.

After being assigned a room that had a padlock on it and another room that was not suitable for me, I went to another hotel. I would like a refund. The hotel is under remodeling and the pictures on the website had nothing to do with the conditions and the available rooms.

Check in was lengthy and uncomfortable as no A/C in lobby, They could not find my reservations, luckily I had printed out a copy of my prepaid itinerary receipt .Cold showers lumpy bed, steep stairways, no elevators, ice machines did not work,the place has deteriorated significantly since my last stay over five years ago. Trash piled up at exits building needs major renovations. Designated Boat trailer parking area not well marked to avoid blocking in by others and hookups to electricity to recharge boats not code compliant.and coming off the walls.

I went to check in after we flew in and nobody was at the desk I called and tried to email the hotel and they didn’t answer. I had to go book at another hotel because the receptionist wasn’t there to check us in and then they still tried to charge my card even though I didn’t stay there because they didn’t help to check me in

Reminded me of an English pub hotel!
I read some reviews after booking and was concerned at what I might show up too… but was pleasantly surprised. Not… it’s not a brand new new 5* hotel. But it was clean, the bathroom had been modernised, the area was safe, the staff were friendly, and the bed was comfy… if you’ve ever stayed in pub hotel in Europe or the UK then you’ll love the historic charm of the inn…. yea, some doors are heavy and May stick a bit… or you might hear them bliss a bit loudly… but it’s a historic inn and I loved it! Even stayed an e tea night…

Our last stay....
We have stayed here several times. The service desk is always helpful. However, this hotel although historical and nostalgic, has lost its charm. Every room is extremely dated, worn out, and lost its charm. Their idea of a handicapped room is very far off path. Regular rooms need severe maintenance and help. The morning coffee is terrible, and breakfast leaves a lot to your imagination.

Great Old Historic Site.
What a wonderful, old, historic hotel! A step back in time to the 30's 40's. The cocktail lounge is a Must See, even if you don't drink.

I can not believe people stay here. I checked in, went to my room and then booked another room at a different hotel and left. Don’t get me wrong, this place is cheap, but it is cheap for a reason

If you love history this was a very interesting place. As with anything historic it showed its age. Electrical needed upgrades.
