We loved the hot tub on the beach!

We had a nice stay at Whidbey Villa. The beach hot tub was a highlight, along with the fully-stocked kitchen. Owners were communicative and checking in/out was easy and casual. I would stay there again. Thanks!

We loved this condo. It was perfect for just the two of us. The window views were breathtaking and sitting in the hot tub with the water right there…amazing!!! This definitely will not be out last time here.

Beautiful property and nice view. So some little irksome things I.e. supplied a Keurig but no coffee ( pretty standard in vacation rentals). Dish soap but no sponge. How am I supposed to actually wash the dish? Power went out to the whole property a couple of times. Other than that it was great.

Definitely Recommend

The view is terrific, and the owners even ordered up a Rainbow on our last night. The accommodations were well planned out for a family, or even just two. All kitchen gadgets helped in making our meals, although there are some pretty good restaurants around too. Bed was like heaven!

We lucked out on a sunny day to walk along the lovely beach front. The house was perfect with a full kitchen to cook meals, comfy beds for sleeping, and large screen TV. And the topper was the amazing hot tub right on the beach for the evening wind down. Perfect!

Great spot on the beach

Cozy Mother in law type unit. Great amenities and hosts. Recommended for couples. Go to bed early and wake up early because this property gets more morning sun.

Wonderful location!

This property was wonderfully appointed and had everything we needed for our night away. We used the hot tub three separate times during our stay - and we were there less than 24 hours! Robes for venturing to and from the hot tub were such a great thought; they came in so handy with the misty, cold weather. We appreciated that there were board games; we learned how to play Mancala and will likely buy for our home :) Would love to come back again to enjoy the property!

Beautiful waterfront views

The home was small but very nicely decorated, and very clean except for a few cobwebs. The location is perfect--right on the water, and so relaxing and beautiful! My only real complaint is that it wasn't very clear from the listing that this property is not a stand-alone building. It didn't feel as private as we would have liked, and I'm not sure we would have booked had we known that it was part of a larger home. But overall, we enjoyed our stay.

We booked for a last minute sisters overnight. Eugene was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had. He even came over and helped us with some electronics we couldn’t figure out. The “villa” was very cozy and the view was amazing. Felt like being on a house boat.

Cozy beach house

What great place to relax and watch the tide with mountain and city views in the distance! There is a Murphy bed in the living room, with a small cooking area and a good-sized table. Upstairs is a bright bedroom with more great views and a king bed. The only bathroom is upstairs if that is important to you. Great place to be with nice community around. Walk on beach, hike in amazing state parks and explore this beautiful place! I hated to leave. Note—it’s a smaller place, but has 2decks with chairs and good seating in the living area.

Nice but Issues with door code and deadbolt

Condo unit is overall good quality and fine. View of puget sound and Hat Island is beautiful! Main issue was front door does not work. The code given did not work. Took 30min or so to get inside as I had to contact VRBO and have someone walk me through finding a separate lock box with a key which eventually got me inside the unit but the deadbolt does not work properly either so it took some time. Other than the issue with the door not working, our stay was good.

This location was stellar and spectacular. Tucked away between a cliff and the sound, it felt isolated but was right on the water. The views were amazing. The place was a little precarious, clearly developed in the Boeing expansion era before environmental regulations—shown by the grandfathered elements such as a steep access road, a walk-in easement and significant shore armoring. The house itself was funky meets purpose rental updated, with four rental units in one building. The big caveats—there is no legit beach access (which the neighbor wanted us to mention) since its an eight foot drop from the deck to the beach. The parking is also a bit precarious, nose down into the sound with no fence, barrier or parking block. It also smells a bit musty but not too bad. You also have to cart in your gear, but that kind of added to the character. The other funky thing is you think you're renting a VRBO from a private owner, but then all the comms and marketing emails come from a company called Vacasa, which owns operates 30K rental properties in the PNW. It was a little unexpected but worked out ok. All in all though a wonderful place, right one the water with a spectacular view, a thing is hard to find in the PNW without an enormous rental cost.

Wonderful week on Whidbey Island!

Our stay at the Whidbey Villa was great! The place was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Super comfy bed upstairs with amazing views of the sound (especially the sunrises!). Watched seagulls catch and eat crabs, and then bald eagles come in and take it away from them. Trust me, those seagulls weren’t going hungry, tho. Langley, which is about 4 miles from the villa has several good restaurants. Deception Pass State Park is a must-see! Gorgeous views!! We did a whale watching tour out of Anacortes (about an hour & 20 min drive) and saw two pods of orcas! It was the highlight of our trip! Be sure to know the ferry schedule over to Mukilteo and back, so you don’t have to wait too long. Overall, the villa was a great place for my husband and me to stay. The only bathroom is upstairs in the bedroom, so keep that in mind if traveling with more than two people.

Great stay.

Lovely location, beautiful view, clean and nice villa. Had a fantastic night here. Stayed over the rainiest weekend of the year and the front walk was a river of mud but besides that everything was amazing. Hot tub, room, and view were all as advertised. Recommended.

Beautiful quick getaway

Place was clean and cozy and cute. Had a bit of trouble finding it as we didnt know to walk down the path but that's part of the adventure sometimes. On our check out day the weather turned gorgeous. Is a place Id recommend and we'd come back

Beautiful view! Best for small families, not for "private" getaway.

Overall good experience. It is NOT a detached unit, there is a shared wall in all rooms. More like renting a townhome/condo, can hear some noise much like a hotel room. Downstairs deck is really part of owners deck. Carpet needs replacing and could use updating but clean. I'm a big dog owner, but it smelled strong of dog to me. The only beach walking is during low tide, which for my stay was in the middle of the night. No where to walk to from the unit. To me, "Villa" implies it was a seperate building, as did the pictures.

Beachfront stay

The cabin itself was very expensive for its condition. The dining room table is quite old, the roof has moss, parking is some ways away from the unit and the entrance to the unit is quite confusing. Overall the view and the quiet were both reasons I rated this a 3 star property, without those this wasn't even close to worth the money for a night. Also this manager charges a deposit which is charged the moment you sign up for the unit, it's been 3 days since my stay and that deposit is still not credited back to me.
