« Not very welcoming team, the room is just disgustingly dirty, mould on the ceiling of the bathroom and the tiles joints are full of mould. the room has certainly not seen a vacuum cleaner for ages. There's NO EXCUSE for such dirt. A pity as it could be a nice place, but it's a NO GO in these conditions »

« Excellent location, always a warm welcome for us and our 2 furry babies. The staff are always lovely and really friendly. The meals are really good and it's always packed with atmosphere. We love it! Definitely be back. 👍 »

« The Sloop Inn is in a convenient location to explore the area. The bedroom was small and had too much furniture; the two chairs took up all the space left in the room to move around, open a suitcase. The only power sockets were behind the bed. In order to plug in my phone and other chargers, I had to pull the bed away from the wall about 15cm in a room that was already too small. The bathroom sink light did not work. The staff were great. »

« We had a very good short break in Ross on Wye!! The area has a lot to offer.. we were particularly impressed with choice of excellent restaurants within walking distance from the hotel!! The staff were very friendly and accommodating! The breakfast was very good and the room was perfect for us offering a separate bedroom in their family suite. »

« This was a third stay. Good hotel, within reasonable walking distance of Ross-on-Wye & well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside & towns. Great to have on-site parking. Owners are friendly & helpful. Appreciate being able to book a single room.Clearly marked emergency exits. Both rooms previously stayed in were up steep, narrow stairs. Didn't find these a problem, but vsitors with mobility difficulties would be advised to check accessibility with the owners before booking. »

« The room was lovely and big, bathroom very clean and staff all friendly. About a half an hour bus from Hereford town. There was an issue with the wifi in the room though, so had to use my data to work remotely. »

« Good location with ample parking. Good variety of food and drink. Unfortunately the bar closes too early at night, maybe that's the law in Wales! Could do with extra help at breakfast as the service was a bit slow when there are many people waiting to be served. »
