« We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the inn. We managed to snag an amazing deal at half the usual rate. Our 2-bedroom room was very clean - only a couple of snags were experienced. The first sleeping area had no bedside lighting and the second had no accessible mains supply! The breakfast included was excellent. The setting for the inn is fantastic - lovely area to walk around. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Calf’s Head, Clitheroe. We attended a wedding at a venue not far from here, so it was a great location for us. All the staff were helpful and friendly and the downstairs bar/dining was an asset to our stay. We both enjoyed a lovely full English the morning after with the option of fruit, cereals and yoghurts. Not the best experience
"The atmosphere in the room was a bit stuffy, and it could have benefited from fresh air. Unfortunately this is the kind of hotel where windows are locked, and cannot be opened. This is also the kind of hotel that rents communicating rooms to clients who do not need them, and I could hear the discussion in the next room, as well as the child screaming, through the communicating door as if I had been with the family in that room. So not the most quiet night. However the room was rather cheap for the area."
