Great property, bad neighbor
The property itself is awesome, not perfect but excellent. Property management is good. House was clean, views are awesome. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others EXCEPT................neighbor approach me with a gun. We rented this house for our annual company retreat. We dont drink, smoke or do drugs. It was about 630pm at night, we decided to build a fire in the firepit. I checked the fire warning, it was green. It was low wind. We watered the area all around us, had two 5 gallon buckets of water next to the fire along with the hose on stand by. Neighbor came walking up from his property with rifle in hand. Hopped the fence onto the property, never said a word, just made his way right up to me. He got mad and told me i had no business building a fire. I asked him if it was against the law or rules. He said, no, we were allowed to. But then proceeded to get more agitated. After a few minutes of this and him swearing at me, I asked him to leave the property. He did and then swore at me some more as he left. Sheriff showed up a few hours later. Inspected the fire and explained we were doing nothing wrong and that we were being very responsible with the fire.The neighbor mentioned being a care giver of the property. So the owner either knows this guy or the guy is lying. Either way, not the best way to approach guests. Not how a company retreat should go. Property owner has some things to figure out. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED.
