« My daughter and I spent a four-day weekend in Edenton at the Southern Porch Charmer which was a house from1920. The inside was beautiful and it was within walking distance to the lighthouse. There is a beautiful park by the lighthouse and it has a really nice playground for children and plenty of benches to just relax by the water. We ate dinner at a couple of different pubs and the food was good. Saturday night we ate at a small, brand new, Italian Restaurant called Carozza's on S. Broad...

It's in a quiet little neighbourhood and looks very unassuming but it was reasonably priced and right on the Sound. If you sit right by the water you can see the sunrise in the distance through the trees, it was just lovely. »
