  • Enjoy this spacious, open floor plan lodge. With over 2,700 square feet for you to relax and escape from your everyday life. This beautiful post and beam home is located on a quiet crystal-clear pond in the Northeast Kingdom nestled in the Green Mountains of Vermont. This property features a large front lawn for outdoor games, a beautiful stone outdoor firepit area overlooking Miles Pond to enjoy in the peaceful evenings. With water access and your own canoe to use. While sitting on one of the three decks you will listen to the Loons, watch the Canadian Geese, cute little ducks and on occasion an Eagle will soar over the pond. You will be surrounded by wildlife and some of the most vibrant fall foliage in the northeast. Enjoy Hiking, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Boating, Swimming, and Fishing, just steps from the front door. Or better yet just relax and enjoy a good book with the scenic views that surround you. This home is located in a four seasons paradise just miles from the beautiful White Mountains, Mount Washington, Kingdom Trails in Burke, Franconia Notch, Victory Bog Wildlife Management Trails, Burke Mountain and Cannon Mountain ski areas, Santa's Village, Wales Tale Waterpark, Loon Mountain zip line, Bretton Woods and horse-back riding. Many local breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and pubs are close by. Enjoy BBQing on the deck with a new, Webber grill. This location is perfectly situated on a one-acre lot only 3 hours from Boston, 20 minutes to the White Mountains, 30 minutes to some of the best Hiking Trails and Ski resorts the Northeast Kingdom and Northern New Hampshire has to offer. Only 30 minutes to the Kingdom Trails which has some of the best mountain biking in the country. You will be in the heart of some of the best motorcycle routes in the northeast; including the Kancamagus Highway. AND Located on the VAST and VASA trails to enjoy snowmobiling and four wheeling.

A beautiful lakeside home with everything you need for a perfect, relaxing vacation. Kayaks and canoes, a swimming beach a few minutes walk down the road, and a comfortable, well-appointed and spacious home to relax in. 2 decks overhead the lake great for reading, eating and relaxing.

Our family loved this place. It was exactly as listed. Location was perfect. We loved playing on the pond, at the fire pit and hiking the mountains. We would love to stay here again!

Peaceful paradise

A very relaxing getaway, kayaking on the pond was a real treat, long walks, and fire at night, and a very comfortable house with all the amenities a person needs! The host was very quick to respond to any questions I had! Love it and would definitely stay again!

Another picture perfect stay!

This is our second year staying in this home while we attend an annual event of friends and family directly across the pond. It’s the perfect sanctuary at the end of the day. I absolutely LOVE this home- everything from coffee on the porch to the fully equipped kitchen and the extra cozy beds is wonderful! I run a VRBO property in Rhode Island and I am extra critical of other properties- this one however gets an A! The owners are also incredibly nice and easy to communicate with!

Another Wonderful VT Getaway

This was our second stay at this home. We had so much fun, we came back again the next year. We stayed a little longer and took more advantage of the dock, kayaks, and canoe. Had a wonderful trip!

Relaxing Getaway

My family and I loved this house. The house is beautiful. We took one of the kayaks and the canoe out each day and paddled around the pond. We had a great vacation and would definitely stay here again.

Great place for a restful and active vacation

I went with friends for seven days, and the property and location had things for every one of us to thoroughly enjoy. We enjoyed kayaking, reading, relaxing around the fire pit, and visited a nearby farm for good produce & strawberry picking. We drove to Mt. Washington peak and hiked on Mt. mansfield.The cabin had everything mentioned in the details and Teresa was very responsive before our arrival.

The property was tastefully decorated, and we loved the knotty pine walls. The master bedroom was beautiful, and we loved the views of the pond from the deck. The home had a very rustic feel to it, which we also loved. Very nice place to stay, with all the feels of Vermont.

Wonderful Camp, Relaxing Stay

The camp is lovely inside and out - rustic and modern at the same time and comfortable throughout. Nice view of the pond, great lawn for bocce, and easy access to many places to kayak. Saw moose up in the Victory Bog and loons on the pond.

The property was perfect for our 3 week stay! The bed was extremely comfortable ( we are picky) and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. I wouldn't recommend for small children, due to the stairs , but our 5 and 6 year old children were quite content and loved the dock for fishing. There's a beach just down the road that y'all can walk to, and lots of dirt roads and trails for hiking and walking. ATVs can be rented from Berlin NH. Mooselook Diner has the best breakfast anywhere! We will be back, thank you!

Peaceful Getaway

We were in Vermont primarily to mountain bike Kingdom Trails. The house was about 30 minutes from the trails but it was great to be by the lake! I was able to paddle board several days. The lake was pretty and the other people who live there are friendly and considerate. Enjoyed the house and the location!

Fantastic property

My family and I stayed at this home this past weekend while attending an annual gathering of family and friends at a camp across the pond. This home was everything we could have hoped for and more. It was a perfect retreat away from the crazy flooding and rain that pounded us for most of the weekend. Staying in this house and enjoying the beautiful views from the front porch made the rain seem not so bad! The outside fire pit is awesome! The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are as cozy as clouds!

Great getaway

The house was beautiful and peaceful! It was perfect for our family of four. Our children (5&7) had no issues with the stairs. We loved the canoe! Life jackets of different sizes were available on the lower level.

3 stories with kitchen, couch, and table on 2nd floor. Beautiful upstairs loft and master. The only other bedroom was a very tiny room on the 1st floor. Overall a good stay, but would have been nicer if second floor had a bedroom or at least a full size room for the bed on first floor. Also house has a wood burning stove but you aren’t allowed to use it. That was disappointing. But we did see a bear right in our yard eating apples from an apple tree! Also the kayaks were an unexpected perk!

Spacious and serene lake front property

My husband and I, our son and his wife stayed at this great property. We enjoyed the proximity to our daughter who lives in north Concord. Lots of room to spread out, beds were great, 2.5 baths a plus. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The only downside was the size of bedroom 2. It was pretty small, no windows. But all in all a great experience!

Only comment was that a few new pots and pans are needed. The existing one's are not in the best shape. The view from the house if great and the property overall is spacious and clean.

Miles Pond Gem

Miles Pond is as big as a pond can be before it becomes a lake. We kayaked and paddle boarded (brought our own) until our hearts were content. Grilling, gaming, fires in the fire pit, milky way viewing, loon and bear spotting were all on the agenda. Great location to several amazing hikes. We definitely recommend the Weeks State Park, Mount Prospect loop trail with the addition of getting to the top. The home is well appointed, lovely, and very spacious. A perfect country lake escape in the mountains.

Very nice home and hosts

Property was clean, master bedroom is gorgeous, kayaks were fun, nice fire pit, lots of utensils, plates, cups etc, and other kitchen items, gas stove was great, host was super responsive and kind. Basement w 2nd bedroom could use carpeting or tile, knives were super dull w no sharpener but plentiful (just my pet peeve on knives lol). Sunsets very pretty, some noise from other people on pond partying, but did not go on too late into night. Very relaxing and enjoyable stay!!

Great Holiday Weekend!

We had a wonderful stay here. The property was right on the pond and water access was right across the road. We took out the canoe and kayak out to hang out on sandbar near the dock. We stayed during the 4th of July weekend and were delighted when neighboring camps let off fireworks that we also got to enjoy. We also took advantage of the many biking trails in the area, there were so many options! The closest convivence store is 7 miles away and an actual grocery store is 20+ minutes away, so just make sure to bring what you need. It was a beautiful location even my 13-year-old could appreciate. We would definitely stay again.

Love the Skies

The house is nice, all in all it was clean but could had been cleaner. The beddings and towels didn't smell fresh, toilet had dried poop, garbage in kitchen was not emptied. I could not used either the canoe or kayak as they are inaccessible for 1 adult
