Great location , responsive hosts

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The location was fantastic and my kids all loved watching the ships go through the channel. We also enjoyed the fishing pier, although primarily we caught mostly "bait fish", we caught them every cast, which is fun when fishing with young kids. The kitchen was well appointed. The only negative was that we had a couple maintenance requests during our stay. They were promptly addressed, but it meant folks were in and out of the place multiple times. The stairs were also a negative, although we knew that going in. If you have a toddler I recommend bringing something to block the spiral staircase. All of the dishware is breakable as well, so bring non breakable dishware if travelling with young kids. All together this was a solid property.

Exactly what I wanted!

Nicely appointed and great private area. Great sitting on the patio and watching porpoises and big ships go by. Just know that it is a second story walk up so not for mobility impaired. Two covered car spots under the condo with your own water hose. Really nice touch! Bedrooms are accessed by a tight spiral stair. Has a good pool and really nice private fishing pier with boat slips - awesome! Would defiantly recommend.

Great Stay

Overall a great stay. Condo was clean, check in was easy. Highlight of the trip was the fishing pier and seeing the dolphins. Condo could use a little updating, but the pictures and description are accurate. Towel rods in bathroom were close to falling off the wall, hand soap in kitchen would have been nice. For the value it was great. We will definitely be back.

Great location

The condo was spotless, easy to access, great location, the ship channel is just out the back door! We had an issue on the first day with an AC in one of the bedrooms but maintenence was there in less than an hour to handle it! Fantastic customer service! Will most definitely be back in the future.

One of the best

It was a very comfortable stay, really close to the beach. We loved not having neighbors upstairs or downstairs. AC worked very well, fairly clean. They have a hose outside to hose down sand, which was really convenient. Probably one of the best locations we’ve stayed at.

Great View

If you like watching ships go by this is a good place for you. We have stayed here before and came back so we really do like it, not to far from the beach or restaurants. Something else we like is fishing off the dock there, we always catch fish and throw them back. I do recommend this place.

Awesome Location

What a great find! The location is awesome! Walking distance from everything; beach, restaurants, and shops, yet still private and quiet. Sparkling clean and recently updated inside and out (photos on site are before update). The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials and the beds were comfortable, it’s so peaceful, we slept great. We enjoyed the pool and watching the dolphins and pelicans in the channel from our deck. We’ll definitely be coming back!!

Don’t waste your money

Extremely dirty. Roach in fridge. Dirty showers. Dog hair all over beds. Definitely check your room before bringing your belongings up the flights of stairs. Property host is rude and tried to deny a refund when notified. And stated the rooms tend to be dirty because they are located by the beach… not sure what that’s supposed to mean. The room was offered to be cleaned, but if my check in status was their definition of clean what was the point . I couldn’t stay, it was that dirty. I understand things happen and I can overlook 1 or 2 stray hairs…But this…. You are better off staying at a motel. Argued with host on rooms status and refund while on the phone with vrbo. I ended up just leaving since the host was in denial even when shown pics of how dirty the room was and we were just arguing in circles. Then they called and offered a refund. Once the refund posted, they charged the refund with cleaning fees… what a joke…. My first worst experience with a rental property.

Nice enough place. Needs a little TLC. Older sofas and chair. Dryer was not working. Pet hair on the sofa. Bedding seemed old and did not smell good., fridge is leaking water. For the price the place should be tip top. The good. Easy check in and out, good location, very nice view. Spacious, shaded parking.

Dolphin watching delight

Great place that sits up so you can watch the ships and dolphins. Friendly people in the neighborhood, nice and quiet for a relaxing getaway. 2 balconies to sit with coffee and I even took a puzzle out one day. Comfortable place to stay that we would love to visit again

If you like ships...

If you like watching ships go by then this is an excellent place to stay. Check in was simple - the keys were in the room. The fishing pier was not very big, but the kids and adults both loved it. I would definitely stay here again and hope to sometime.

And the best part...dolphins!

Although the property is dated, the location makes it all worthwhile. Each level of the property has a deck that overlooks the canal. You can watch the dolphins all day long and the tankers are huge and quiet. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops. The property has a chicken coupe and eggs are free at the front office. Best breakfast ever!
