« This is a fantastic pub to stay and dine at. 4 nights here with wonderfully comfortable and quiet room. Excellent staff, great evening menu and food. Lovely atmosphere. Amazing walking right from the front door, car did not move for the whole time. The breakfast is the only thing that needs attention… the full English is good quality and well cooked but took 30-40 mins to arrive and on cold plates - easily rectified I hope. « Hôtel de bon standing affiché 4**** mais dont les chambres ne sont pas climatisées. Lorsque la température extérieure frise les 30°, les chambres se transforme en sauna. Restaurant insipide et cher. »

« This has been on my bucket list for some time. We had a wounderful 2 night stay and everything was perfect. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, larger than alot of hotel rooms. You lay in bed at night and could imagine your travelling on a train. The meal was excellent, Beef Wellington to die for, so good and wonderful surroundings in a 1906 Pullman car exquisitely restored. The staff were brilliant and extremely helpful. Alot of history tied up in this place. »

« Having stayed in a whole load of hotels on a regular basis, we genuinely cannot compare the service to anywhere else we've stayed collectively. The food was stunning. The garden was gorgeous. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. We just wished it was bigger so we could move in!
