It was right on the highway, so there was some traffic noise, but that really faded into the background, and earplugs were provided by the host for sleeping, if necessary. I never found it necessary to use them. I really enjoyed my stay here! Loved that it was walkable to the Redwoods Visitor Center, the Del Norte/Crescent City Visitor Center, and a grocery store. „Very clean, well stocked, easy check-in, great location for touring Redwoods and seeing coast. Trails very near the unit that are some of the most beautiful we saw are Boy Scout Trail, Grove of the Titans and Stout Grove. Town is aged and there is a significant homeless population to be aware of however the double security to get into the unit was reassuring. The lighthouse, elk and sea lions were fantastic.
