„Weekend fishing trip for 5 dads. Overall we had a great time. The (log) cabin was nice. Check-in was easy. Clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed. Used the large grill on the back deck and worked well, also very clean. The communication with owners lagged a bit once we were at the property. The cabin was short on bath towels. „We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was very clean, well decorated and very cozy. Wish the lighting would have been a bit brighter. The kitchen was well stocked. We really appreciated all of the tupperware containers, to store leftovers in. The lake level at rough river was low. There was also a lot of floating debris at certain times, making it hard to boat or tube. I would suggest putting a note in the manual about what day trash day is, along with providing one or two more ...

There were a large group of us and the house fit our needs perfectly while giving us an atmosphere that we could relax in and enjoy the natural beauty of Rough River. „Communication with Joe was quick and easy. The house is beautiful and on an amazing piece of land. Plenty of room and amenities for our ladies’ group. Clean, well stocked, very comfy furniture and beds. The only con is all 3 bathrooms are upstairs via a narrow spiral staircase. (However, it is an easy walk around to the front door if you don’t want to use the stairs.) Several bedrooms are also upstairs in case you have those who can’t use them.
