„We had such an amazing time! It was a spurt of the moment decision to come up as our summer plans to stay had to be canceled. But it was exactly what we needed. So peaceful and we had a daily guest who very politely knocked on the door to be let in to say hello. Sarge was an added delight as we tend to miss our kids and own dog. He was certainly an added surprise. We look forward to staying again hopefully sooner rather than later.“

„We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the area. The cabin is small, but had just what we needed. It is on the river. The weather was rainy and misquotes were bad, so we didn’t get to explore the property, other than being able to sit on the dock for a few minutes when the rain stopped.“

Remote but a small town 10ish mins away if you need an essential. Docked pontoon waiting for you to captain yourself across the river to the island with the cabin on a hill. „We had the best time in Fence - it reminded us of home with the quietness and friendly people. The property was clean and perfect size for our family of 4. We were lucky to have great weather and so much to do in the surrounding areas. We appreciated the games and snacks. It was nice to catch up with the owners who live next door and get their advice on roads to take etc. We had the best experience at The Fence Post too! Thanks for everything!“

„House was exactly what we needed. Lots of space for everyone. Kitchen had supplies needed to cook and bake. Great communication with management.we arrived in the evening , realized at bedtime there was no hot water called the property management company in the morning and they had it fixed quickly.Not a huge deal but inconvenient after traveling for 24hours. House was well stocked with linens and beds were comfortable. We travel to the area once a year and will return if available.“

„A group of us went to celebrate a 40th birthday. This place was everything we were looking for. It was very secluded with no neighbors in sight! There were 11 of us and 2 dogs. We did a lot of fishing and paddle boarding (the boat and 2 paddle boards were provided at no extra cost!). Being from the city we all really enjoyed star gazing and we all saw shooting stars.
