Hôtel près de Dales Countryside Museum, Hawes, Hawes

« Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests! »

« Just stayed 2 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it.Friendly helpful staff and a delicious breakfast both mornings.Room was lovely and bright,A very good size with comfy beds.Would definitely return and would recommend to others. »

« Great place, delicious food and excellent location. »

« Lovely cosy cottage. Close to the high street and Wensleydale creamery. »

« Great stay for the 3 peaks »

« Friendly hosts. Delicious freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. Comfortable rooms. Ideal location within walking distance to local pubs/eateries. »

« Excellent all round. Would definitely recommend »

« Robin at reception was a true gem and the best part about the hotel. After her showing us to our room it all went downhill sadly. Bar staff and restaurant staff were inconsistent, didn't listen, were abrupt and stopped talking to us to chat to other people that had entered the pub. No thank you after the purchase of drinks, just a swift turn away. Told us what soup was available after I'd mentioned a week of Puree'd soup in Scotland had not been good... what soup did I get, puree'd veg after...

« Staff were very friendly and helpful, comfy bed, lovely hot powerful shower! Great food and beer, really enjoyed my stay! »

« Food was excellent and was in a very scenic part of North yorkshire »

« Lovely place. This is a rustic place in the middle of nowhere and is fantastic! Worth all the travel. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. I had the giant Yorkshire pudding with beef bourginon. My room was lovely and the bed comfortable. A very welcoming place even for a single traveller like me. I’m definitely going back at some point! Brilliant »

« Our room was clean,as was the bathroom. The matrass was very soft, would gave preferred firmer. The meals were satisfactory. I would visit again »

« Great choice for exploring Yorkshire Three Peaks & Settle to Carlisle Railway. Spacious, well-equipped cottage in quiet location with excellent accommodation for living and sleeping. Attractive small garden for relaxing after our days walking in heatwave conditions. Could not find any property information pack nor operate Bose music system. No instructions for used bedding or bins. Would it be too much trouble to provide one ~20p dishwasher tab per day? »

« Great location and good menu choice at reasonable price. Room dated and lacked basics, also a bit dusty. We were told we couldn't have breakfast as we hadn't ore ordered, I'm sure they could have managed something for us. Ok stay but wouldn't rush back »

« Great property for 8 guests »

« A comfortable cottage with all necessary amenities, including a wood burning stove and plenty fuel. Located in a small village near a friendly pub. Village shop is only open half days but Leyburn with a range of shops and places to eat is only 4 miles. Great area for walking »

« Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Stunning views from the rear of the property. Very clean and had every thing we needed for our stay. Pub just a few minutes walk away with good food. Otherwise quite remote but there are shops a short drive away. Perfect location for a countryside retreat. »
