« The rooms were clean and the staff were really helpful. They need to make the hotel more friendly for the people with disabilities. They need to put side rails up and make the hotel more wheel chair accessible. Furniture is old, basically to maintain the colonial heritage, but still the furniture could polished to look new. Otherwise no complaints. They just need to make it more friendly for the DISABLED since it’s on the top of a hill. »

« We had an amazing stay at ging tea house It is a rare gem hidden in the mountains with breathtaking views. The property manager Mr. Andrew made sure our stay was memorable. He helped us with the directions. He and his team work day and night to make sure we have tasty food for breakfast lunch and dinner and making nice dargeeling tea for us. The property is located in the mountains with lots of greenery and small hikes to explore the tea plantations. Will definitely visit here again. »

« I stayed 2 delightful nights at the Ivanhoe. Your managers couldnt have been more helpful and thoughtful. The old part of the hotel is far nicer than the new annex. I stayed in a cosy room ( Col Sir Younghusband )with a fireplace, surrounded by thoughts on who had graced these rooms in the past. A place with a lot of character and lovely staff. « Pauvre et froid l'accueil. Le buffet pour le déjeuner n'offrait que peu de choix. Pas de yaourt par exemple. Le service était confus- l'anglais pas compréhensible de certains employés est-il responsable? J'ai dû demander une tasse de thé à 5 reprises avant qu'on ne m'explique que c'était la faute de la cuisine s'il n'y en avait pas de prêt...Or nous n'étions qu'une poignée de clients attablés. Le service WiFi était pratiquement inexistant- je n'ai pas réussi à envoyer un seul message à partir...

« It was a pleasant stay at Hotel Sumitel Spa n Resorts. Everything was as per our expec tations. There should be some improvement in toiletry items. Towels were old and to be discarded now. Comid lid was not fixed properly. But overall we liked the ambience. And the most beautiful part is that you can see the beautiful view of Kanchenjunga from your rooms. Thanks. »

« The staff are lovely and helpful and hotel is quite nice. Its location is also very central. The hotel room was quite cold, however, due to gaps between the windows and the window frame. The hotel offers heaters but these are reasonably pricey. I was able to manage in November but I suspect it would be miserable in December and January. Also the hot water supply was inadequate. It took 20-25 mins to heat up and I found that I had to turn up the heat every minute to keep it reasonably warm. »
