„Nice clean cottage in a small village up a hill with several walking routes starting from or passing your front door (check Komoot). Large box filled with information about the neighborhood. Interior is a bit outdated but matches the rental fee. Easy contact with host. Great wifi for the kids One suggestion: install flat ceiling lamps in kitchen and hallway to prevent (tall) people from bumping into them and accidently breaking them...“

„We had a wonderful stay in River Cottage. The house is fabulous, with everything you could possibly need. The views of the river are spectacular and we loved sitting in the conservatory watching it racing by. This house doesn't want for anything and was perfect for our family. „As ever, heavenly! We spent a lovely 5 days at barn acre. The weather though changeable was excellent and gave us a chance to continue to explore the area. Bolton castle is a must. We were able to return to barn acre knowing that it is a wonderful base. Everything you need for a very comfortable visit. This is our third visit and won’t be our last. We thank the owners for their cosy home from home and their lovely welcome package.“

„Nice and comfortable place with everything you need, convenient stores 5 mins walk, there are bus stops, but I think is convenient to have a car and there is a great driveway next to the house and the beds are clean & comfortable. The only downside for me it’s not pet friendly anymore, she had a bad experience in the past with other guests and asked as soon as I arrived if my small dog would be kept in a crate during my stay. „Wir haben im Juli 2022 3 Wochen im Castle verbracht und haben es sehr genossen! Für uns hat alles perfekt gepasst! Der Bau, die Ausstattung und die einmalige Lage mit der wunderbaren Aussicht machen diese FeWo einzigartig. Wir haben viele Ausflüge in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung gemacht. Sind zum Meer herunter gelaufen, haben die Ruhe genossen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Es ist definitiv ein Ort um wieder einmal hinzugehen.“
