It was great! The beach was a bit more of a walk than advertised, but other than the rain and thunder storms it was awesome!

I didn’t have any hot water in one bathroom but the weather was so. Got that it wasn’t a real problem. Nice for older couples that like beer no matter n first floor. Pool was very nice!

I was on the 1st floor, I enjoyed walking out the Balcony to the Pool

It was great, I like that is was out of Season, the Pool n the Beach was a private space for me

Very close to the pool, and a nice boardwalk to the beach. Several places to eat within walking distance across the road.

We had an excellent stay, and everything was so convenient for us with a 2 year old. It had easy access to both the pools and the beach, which was so amazing for us. The rooms were cozy, and we felt right at home. We will definitely be back!

Could not actually see the beach due to distance and sand dunes. Walk to beach was long.,but glad for a boardwalk most of the way. Pool was a wonderful temperature and looked inviting. Condo was clean,furniture somewhat comfortable, location was great. Not many restaurants close by,same with grocery store.If you plan to cook,get food items before getting on the island.

Our stay was very relaxing. The property was very quiet. Was very excited to have an ice machine that was working properly. My only complaint was the extremely long walk to the gulf. The beach front in made drastic changes over the last two years.

Can't see beach from first floor, but just a few steps to pool & close to boardwalk out to beach. Few places to eat nearby, just across street Pirates Pizza & Wings VERY GOOD. Captain Snapper, just as come across bridge. real good. EVERYONE CLOSES BY 7 OR 8 so don't wait much past 5:30 to go eat. 1st night took us 4 stops to get anywhere. Sunsets were glorious. Boardwalk across from Capt. Snapper best place for shells & Sunset...We took ferry couple times...Daupin Island Very Quiet & laid back

Our stay at The Inn on The Island

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the island and our condo was nice, but the sofa and chairs were pretty dirty looking..we kept them covered with sheets, so we didn't have to sit on the stained fabric. The management were very nice.

Loved Dauphin Island!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great for the price we paid. Yes they could always upgrade the look of the interior but it gave us everything we needed for our family week stay. Unfortunately the handle on the sliding glass door did break off due to it being tough to open and shut but maybe it will be better for the next guest.

Excellent little Island

My family of 5 couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. Granted it was off season, but we basically had the beach to ourselves and loved the ground floor condo opening to the pool. The mild complaints were the pool heater was broken the entirety of our stay and the kitchen needs attention. (No dish-clothes, poor pans, no sheet pans, my husband had to repair the ice maker, etc…) Overall we plan to return!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a four generation family vacation. The ground floor condo was convenient for all ages, especially direct access to the pool and beach boardwalk. The latch on the gate was high enough that our intrepid 4 year old couldn't get to it. The living to room sliding door seemed like it needed some oil, it took a good bit of effort to open it. (Though not necessarily a bad thing for the previously mentioned 4 year old.). The condo was well furnished, clean, and the beds comfy. I might bring an extra blanket next time though. All in all it was an excellent place to stay.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The silverware drawer was nasty I would recommend bringing throw away plates and forks. The sheets were stained and not really sanitary looking. Some money needs to be spent on buying a few new things. I stayed at unit 112 at the same complex last month and it was so much nicer.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The stay overall was very good. Unfortunately our refrigerator started leaking. Also the TV box was blocked in the living room. The maintenance man moved the box from the bedroom to the living room but never brought one to put into the bedroom. The second bedroom had no TV. Staff was very responsive. The beach was amazing!!
