« Was a fantastic few days at a beautiful spot. Was cozy and rustic as expected and lovely. Stayed in July and the cove had a nice wind tunnel effect and the cottage had windows on both sides which kept a nice breeze. Swimming was great with a soft sandy entry (some leaves but not weedy). Had very quick and detailed responses when any questions came up for the hosts. We had a great time and would come back again without hesitation. »

« We had a lot of fun at the cottage with grown up kids and two dogs. The deck was amazing with its 3 levels and spectacular views (would have been nice to have kayaks or a canoe to enjoy the lake though). Location was great, super close to Bala. Cottage had a good vibe, could have been a bit cleaner…and cheaper. Great stay overall. »

« A neat and clean new modern palace! The view is perfect! The kids were very happy to see a large flock of turkeys when we woke up on Thanksgiving morning! »

« It was paradise, couldnt of asked for a better spot. The cottage has everything you could possibly need. I think we used every accommodation it had to offer and it did not disapoint. Simon is a 10/10 host, it is obvious he takes very good care of his properties, he made sure we were good and left us to our selves. We hope to go north again next year and we will for sure be contacting Simon. PS the fishing was great! »

« My family (7 adults and 1 infant) had a great time at Martin’s cottage. The layout of the bedrooms and living areas gave us lots of space to spread out, indoors and outside. The dock and lake are fantastic. We especially enjoyed the sandy, shallow spot off the dock where our little one could walk around in the water. The sauna was awesome! Thanks for a great stay! »

« We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. »

« Michael’s house has plenty of room for all. The kitchen is very well equipped and everything was in good working order. We enjoyed hikes and beaching at Awenda Provincial Park. The parking passes for Awenda and Tiny Township were a really nice touch! »

« We had an amazing weekend. Clean, lake front, great fishing off the dock; watch out for the pike we put up a great fight, and accommodating, with enmities in short distance. Would definitely bring the fam again next year. »
