We stayed one night and chose this property for its advertised “on the beach” location. Unfortunately, it did not meet expectations for the price.
The room was decent but outdated, with no air conditioning. To get airflow, you must open doors/windows, but there are no screens, so bugs come in. Privacy is also limited, as people from the nearby park can see directly inside.
A major issue was the train, which runs every 10–20 minutes and is very loud. Since the tracks sit between the property and the ocean—and windows must stay open—you hear it constantly.
The property is not truly “on the beach.” A railroad track and cliff separate it from the ocean, and beach access requires walking through a nearby park. While not far, this feels misleading.
Additional drawbacks included no breakfast or on-site dining, limited laundry (2 machines), cleanliness issues (cobwebs), and construction noise disclosed only after booking a non-refundable stay.
Checkout expectations (taking out trash, loading dishwasher, etc.), along with a tip envelope and reminder text, felt excessive.
While the kitchen was nice and the beach is nearby, the stay did not justify the cost and felt misleading overall.
