The Space:

Welcome to Mt. Baker Base Camp, a three-level forest cabin tucked among the evergreens in Snowline, a gated mountain community near Mt. Baker.



Designed for up to 8 guests, the home gives families, couples, and friends plenty of room to gather while still offering separate spaces to unwind. After a day skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, or exploring the North Cascades, come home to a soak in the private hot tub beneath the trees, warm up beside the gas fireplace, or head downstairs for foosball and a movie.



THE SPACE



The main level is the heart of the home, with an open kitchen, dining area, and comfortable living room beneath vaulted ceilings. Prepare dinner together in the fully equipped kitchen, settle in for a movie on the Smart TV, or step outside to the forest deck.



String lights give the deck a warm evening glow, with outdoor dining, a BBQ, and the private hot tub surrounded by towering evergreens.



Downstairs, the rec room gives the group another place to spread out with foosball, a Smart TV, lounge seating, and room for mountain gear.

The Neighborhood:

Mt. Baker Base Camp is located in Snowline, a peaceful gated mountain community surrounded by forest in Glacier, Washington.



Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 25–30 minutes away, making Snowline an excellent home base for skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and exploring the North Cascades.



Within the community, guests can enjoy walking paths, river access areas, a playground, and an open field surrounded by towering evergreens.



Snowline also has a seasonal heated outdoor swimming pool, typically open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. The pool is closed during fall and winter.



After a day exploring the mountains, return to the quieter pace of Snowline and the comfort of your own forest retreat.



Other Things to Note:

Mt. Baker Base Camp is a three-level home, so stairs are part of the layout.



Parking is limited to registered vehicles that fit completely within the driveway. Snowline does not permit street parking.



Winter weather can bring snow and ice to Mt. Baker Highway, neighborhood roads, and driveways. Four wheel drive or all wheel drive is strongly recommended during winter conditions.



Fast fiber WiFi is available at the home. Cell service varies by carrier, and as with any rural mountain destination, severe weather can occasionally affect power or internet service.



We recommend arriving with groceries and provisions, as shopping and dining options become more limited as you travel farther east on Mt. Baker Highway.



Streaming subscriptions are not included, so guests should plan to sign into their own accounts.
