Family vacation 2025

This house was just perfect for a large family. The pool was great and so nice to be able to swim night and day whenever we wanted to. The golf cart was great to have for making trips back and forth to the beach. I would definite recommend Diamonds in the Sand.

Whole Family Vacation

Wonderful place in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is amazing, the homes were beautiful, the host was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to take your whole family to make lasting memories. The golf cart is an added bonus… the kids wanted to drive for ice-cream every night.

Diamonds in the Sand was an awesome place for family time. Pool was secluded between the 2 houses. Great privacy and nice area to spread out. Beach was short walk or golf cart ride. Had 17 people (4 families) plenty of room for all. Hosts were very attentive to questions. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful property!

This is a beautiful property that was perfect for our extended family. Having the separate cottage house for our families with young children was a bonus so we didn't have to worry about being quiet for naps, etc. Proximity to the beautiful beach was great! A less than 5 minute walk if needed, but we successfully hauled our gear and people in two trips with the golf cart (included with the house!!) and were able to park it every day at the Tarpon access point. The pool located between the homes was very clean and we used it everyday! Most important is the property owner / manager is outstanding. Very responsive and helpful to my questions before and during the trip. We will seek out properties they own in future stays to the Destin area.

Diamonds In The Sand “Perfect for 9 adults and 3 Kids”

We had two separate families. One family consisted of (4) Adults. We stayed in the front (Smaller) house. Second family consisted of (5) adults and (3) children 9, 6, and 2. We all had our individual spaces and both places allowed separation and togetherness. The pool between the two houses was perfect. 2.5 blocks from the ocean and a 6 seater golf cart included with the rental. The owners were very responsive and took care of anything quickly and accurately. Hammock in the back perfect for relaxing. Definitely would rent again. Will also recommend others to this property and others owned by Brie and Aubrey!!!

Great week with Family

We had a wonderful week staying here. The house was very clean and well equipped. The owner was available and communicative if needed. It is a quick golf cart ride to the beach and many other shops/restaurants. We loved the pool which offered plenty of seating for lounging and very good privacy from neighbors. The BEST visit

We stayed at house for my daughters Sweet 16. We had the best time!! The two houses are amazing since we had the older kids and they had their own house. The adults in the other, pleasure!! Family Spring Break Stay

Our Spring Break trip included five adults and six teenagers, and the double houses provided plenty of space for our group. The pool was a huge hit, and splurging on the pool heater was a must during our early season visit. The property is in a quiet neighborhood where almost all houses are rentals, though we did not experience any noise or "party" issues. Most neighboring properties were other families, which is the general vibe in Destin and a big plus if you're trying to avoid college spring break vibes. The front, original house is a charming beach cottage vibe with plenty of updates while retaining the original character. The back, larger house is a great layout for sleeping as many people as possible, with four of our teen boys sharing the bunk room. Having bathrooms for each bedroom was a big plus. The property was clean upon arrival, the check-in process was smooth, and the owners had great communication up to, during, and after our stay. The golf cart was a plus, though parking if you're wanting to drive it to the beach can be a challenge. It did allow for some nice evening cruises on the beach road. We did experience an issue with one of the washers and one of the dryers, but the owners were attentive to get the issues addressed as quickly as they could. Having a set in each house would be excellent in most situations. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to others.

Having the two homes was perfect for our trip. Had 5 senior college girls in the front house and remainder of us in the main house, was a perfect set up. Great family reunion!

Couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Having the two houses gave us so much more room and allowed members of the group who needed a bit of a break a place to relax in some quiet. There were 16 of us ranging in age from 5-75 and we had the best time. Aubrey is an outstanding host - I don’t think we ever waited more than 3 minutes to get a response to any of our texts. We highly recommend this rental and can’t wait to return!

AMAZING multi family property

We had an AMAZING time at “Diamonds In the Sand”!!! The house and the cottage are beautiful and cozy! So many amenities and comforts of home!! We ALL slept so good on the comfortable beds!! The details of each bedroom made us all feel like we were royalty! The house and cottage were immaculate… not a speck of sand or bugs!!! The pool was sparkling clean and perfectly refreshing! Not too cold and not too hot!! There is a grill outside and plenty of seating in the beautiful backyard… even a picnic table for family dining . The chaise lounge chairs are great too! We had a blast with the golf cart that is included… fully charged and ready to go! Only minutes to the most gorgeous beach and stunning Emerald ocean! Our experience here was a dream come true with the best host! Thank you!!!

Great stay in Destin!

We stayed here the dreaded first week of April when 40% of the Midwest invades the gulf coast. There were ten of us, six parents and four high school seniors from Michigan. The location was excellent, close to the beach and restaurants but set back enough from both main drags to be nice and quiet when you wanted it to be. We spent a ton of time using the patio and pool area. Plenty of seating, lots of sun, but also some shady areas when our pale winter skin needed a break. We put the teenagers in the unit closest to the street, I believe this is called the cottage. More than enough space for them and since the location is so close to the beach (an easy two blocks) they would head off on their own most days. The parents were in the newer unit, all three couples had a bedroom / en-suite, plenty of space, comfortable furnishings, and a well stocked kitchen. We cooked dinner at the property 3 or 4 times. There’s a really nice Coleman grill on the patio by the pool, we grilled up some fresh fish we caught in the gulf. Delicious! The hosts were fantastic communicators during check in /out. Perhaps the best compliment you can give a host is that you didn’t have to contact them at all! Everything was great. I have no doubt that if there had been an issue they would have taken care of it immediately. Thank you Brie and Aubrey for sharing your beautiful homes with us! If I’m back in Destin with a group again you’ll be my first call. Cheers!

Great place for family.

We loved this property. The pool was great. Had to pay extra for heated pool. We were okay with it. Aubrey and Brie were great to work with. We had a problem with the golf cart, but someone was sent out immediately to fix it. Will definitely stay here again. Location is great. Walking distance to beach and stores.

Great place for large group

Place was perfect for our group. The separate houses worked great. Pool area was a great gathering location for the whole group to hang out. Close to beach and shops. Definitely would stay here again.
