First it was Thanksgiving and a water main had burst and 4 to 5 blocks all around me were out of water since 4 pm the day before Thanksgiving. I booked through Expedia 2 days, Thanksgiving and the day after. I called Thanksgiving morning for an early check in, which i saw was available for a fee, on the website. First a guy answered, he directed me to some AI voice that gave me the run around and told me to call the hotel. I called back and some lady answered just to tell me that the quality inn has no early check in policy. I said my water was out plus it was Thanksgiving.
I checked in at 3pm and asked how full they were, the guy said not even half full. I complained about the earlier request to check in early and told him i saw it on their website, plus it was Thanksgiving. I really needed a shower. He said the girl was new and only there for 2 days. Then she should have called someone to check on it instead of telling me there was no early check-in policy. Just plain stupid.
Anyway my wife and daughter were working the next day so they stayed so they could shower b4 going to work i went home. They returned home at 6am only to say how filthy the place was and the sheets were dirty. They refused to stay the second day, after work my wife and i returned to take a shower and went home. I wont ever stay at another Non quality inn.
