« We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the bedding was comfortable, and everything felt cozy from the moment we arrived. We especially loved the wood-burning stove it made the winter atmosphere even more special. Enjoying the sauna and the hot tub while surrounded by snow was truly a highlight. The location is quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting. The kitchen was fully functional with everything we needed. Honestly, the only thing we wished for was more time...

Unfortunately, the hot tub didn’t work when we arrived, the outdoor grill wouldn’t start (and neither did the broiler in the oven), and the heat could not be increased (it was set so that it would not burn the wood floor by the kitchen sink where one of the heaters was). « Casa de Carmen is the absolute perfect cabin for a getaway. The host Danny was very communicative and offered us recommendations for the area. The cabin itself was well decorated, and clean. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub and driving over to Jim Thorpe to explore. The living room also has the most amazing views, perfect to match with your morning coffee.
