„Very neat place to stay. Grounds are beautiful and the hotel is in a great shape considering 100+years old. Got a corner room by the water fall to the Columbia River and it was spectacular. Wish the weather was bit nicer for a clearer view of the river and the fall. Sound created by the fall was very soothing. Bar was nice. Staffs were friendly and would stay at the hotel again!!“

„Super relaxing and in the middle of the forest…. Parking was annoying, as I had to park the furthest away from my room as possible when I had a hot tune suite on the 1st floor. Our room only had 2 towels in it, for a 4 person reservation in a suite with a private hot tub on the balcony, and when I called the front desk for more towels inwas told I could walk up to registeration desk for more towels, or wait until the morning when the house keeps arrived at 10am. „We had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our time here. The interior is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, the room was very comfortable, and the mattress was excellent — we slept great. The view was absolutely stunning and added so much to the overall experience. The pool area was also fantastic and very relaxing. The only small note is that there was quite a bit of dog hair in the room, which we noticed during our stay. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely come back“

„Love this new spot in Hood River! They were less than two months old when I stayed, so they were still working on some things, but nothing too annoying. The lobby/bar/basecamp were very nice. Lots of options for seating and lounging. As other reviews mentioned, the rooms are quite small, but the common areas made up for it. And it was still enough space to lounge and watch TV.
