We had a wonderful stay at Serendipity in southwest Normandy. The house was absolutely spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of character. The peaceful gardens were a delight to wake up to and made for a relaxing place to unwind after sightseeing. The location couldnât have been betterâwithin easy reach of Mont St Michel, the Normandy beaches, and historic Bayeux. Domfront, the nearest town, had everything we needed including a supermarket and a cafe right in the middle of town overlooking the medieval city walls. Donât miss a visit to the nearby village of Lonlay-lâAbbayeâboth picturesque and home to the delightful Biscuiterie de LâAbbaye, where we stocked up on treats.Mike and Lyn were exceptional hosts, greeting us warmly with local cider and fresh milk for that much-needed cup of tea after our drive from Paris. Their hospitality truly made the stay even more special.Highly recommendedâwe would return in a heartbeat!
